We came here for a dinner outing and it delivered a full experience, perfect for a casual dinner with friends or family.
We ordered Kothu Parotta, Ghee Roast, Masala Dosa, and the Tiffin Set — each dish came out beautifully presented and full of authentic South Indian flavour.
The aroma and presentation of the food made it feel like a treat — not just dinner, but an evening out. The staff were attentive and polite; they checked in about spice levels, refilled water and chutneys without being asked, and gave us time to enjoy each course.
The badam milk,coffee and the desserts were amazing too.
We left feeling satisfied but not overly stuffed. If you’re looking for somewhere to enjoy a flavour-rich South Indian dinner with great service and authentic taste, Raja Chettinad is absolutely worth it.
A special shoutout to Sridhanya who made our experience even better! She was extremely polite and friendly, took the time to explain the house specials and chef’s specials and made sure we ordered dishes that matched our taste preferences. Her suggestions were spot on — you can tell she genuinely cares that guests have a great experience.

We recently tried the Tawa Fish, Tandoori Pomfret, Prawn Chukka, Paneer, Mysore Masala Dosa, and Rava Dosa, and every single dish was fantastic.
The Tawa Fish was perfectly crisp on the outside and tender inside, with beautifully balanced masala.
The Tandoori Pomfret was a clear favourite — flavourful, smoky, and grilled to perfection.
The Prawn Chukka was spicy, rich, and packed with authentic Chettinad flavours that we all loved.
We also ordered some vegetarian options, and they were equally impressive.
The Paneer dish was soft, fresh, and well-marinated, absorbing the flavours beautifully.

Definitely the best restaurant for both vegeterian and non-vegeterian dishes. Have gone for lunch, dinner and late dinner (with family). Great ambience overall, and have tried multiple dishes and I would say everything tasted great with right level of spiciness and ample quantity.
Cost is optimal (definitely not cheap, but not too costly as well). Service is top notch across all. At lunch/weekends it may get busy, but I never had to wait to be seated.
Parking is easy to get, so no issues there as well. Restaurant is well open late in the night, so didn’t have to hurry to get food ordered and eat quickly.

What ha place man my god what ha food. I had Dhindukal thalapakattu Mutton Briyani. Excellent taste. Meat was cooked juicy with flavour full. Rice is very soft like sponge. Very delicious food and great service. Always mind blowing mild music atmosphere. Now it my favourite to come back always.

My wife and I had a great time at RC in Kitchener. The open seating space is the best part of this location. Delicious lamb curry and fresh naan was outstanding. Would be awesome if the management pause on reducing the quantity of the main dishes. We will visit again for sure! Shout out to the crew for the amazing service.

Absolutely loved the food here! The Cheese Mysore Masala Dosa was outstanding — super cheesy, crispy, and big enough to fill you up. The Mutton Keema Dosa was also delicious, though it could’ve had a bit more stuffing. The Dal Makhani and Jeera Rice were average, but overall, the food quality was great.
Only downside — the staff lacked warmth; there were no smiles and we weren’t greeted nicely when we arrived. Still, I’d come back for the food and definitely recommend trying their dosas!

I visited Raja Chettinad Fine Indian Cuisine yesterday and had a good experience.
The food quality was excellent and the flavors were well balanced. I tried the South Indian chicken curry, which was rich and authentic . Along with that, I had tandoori naan and tandoori chicken. Both were cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and served fresh.
I also tried their parotta, which felt quite unique.
The vada was another highlight, crispy on the outside and tasty inside.
I finished the meal with their tea. While I usually prefer cardamom tea, this masala tea was well prepared and enjoyable.
Another plus point is the availability of parking space, which makes visiting convenient.
