My wife and I visited for Valentine’s Day, and we had such a wonderful evening. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and perfect for a special occasion. Even though it was a busy night, the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely valued throughout our visit.
The food was absolutely outstanding. You can really taste the freshness and authenticity in every dish — everything was clearly cooked to order and full of flavour. The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked, and the sauces were rich, aromatic, and beautifully balanced. It felt like a true, authentic Indian dining experience rather than your average curry house.
The whole evening felt relaxed, romantic, and special, which is exactly what we were hoping for. It was the perfect place to celebrate Valentine’s Day together, and we left already looking forward to coming back.
Highly recommended for anyone wanting delicious, authentic Indian food and a lovely atmosphere. Thank you for making our Valentine’s celebration so memorable!

We recently had a fantastic afternoon meal at Raj Kitchen in Swansea.
The food was a major highlight, offering truly authentic Indian cuisine that tasted remarkably close to the actual food you’d find in India. This is definitely the place to go if you’re looking for an authentic experience!
The service was on point and very friendly. A special mention goes to Nisha, who was attentive and made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant was pleasantly quiet during my afternoon visit.
The location is fabulous. They also offer a good selection of alcoholic beverages. The only note for future diners is that the toilet facilities are located downstairs, which could be difficult for some people.
Overall, a fab experience! Highly recommend Raj Kitchen for its authentic dishes and great staff.

Raj Kitchen is first class. I was there on a Sunday afternoon and had their wonderful buffet lunch. Incredible value for £15.
The staff were all very professional and polite. The food was a good mix to suit all tastes.
As an added bonus I had a beautiful view of a rain sodden Swansea Castle.
If I’m ever in town again this restaurant would be my first visit.

Food was incredible. Best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had. Lovely vegetarian options too. The service was amazing and friendly as always, cannot recommend it enough. Prices are extremely fair – starter, two mains, and three drinks for £50. What a treat it is to eat here.

The decor is bright and airy. Food is ok but didn’t match their description in the menu. The garlic chilli said it came in a thick batter but it was chicken tikka. The curries lacked depth of flavour.

We recently dined at Raj Kitchen for our anniversary. We have eaten here a number of times and found the experience consistently excellent.
The atmosphere is warm and the staff very welcoming. Chef Raj is a gentleman, and the way he greets and works the room, chatting to the diners about their meal and enthusiastically enquiring what could make their experience and meals better is a pleasure.
The food is always great, a favourite of ours are the Biriyanis which we seem to order every visit. The Garlic Naan breads are light and flavourful , not the doughy bulky breads you get in other Indian restaurants.
On this visit, we had the Raj Tandoori Grill platter. I have wanted to try this for a while as on previous visits have smelt and heard the sizzle of the platter being delivered to other tables. It did not disappoint, plenty of perfectly cooked meat on a bed of onions sizzling hot on a cast iron skillet. Highly recommended.
The ‘Classic’ cocktails are excellent value for money at under £7 each.
I look forward to visiting again soon. It is definitely our favourite Indian Restaurant in Swansea.

The service for a group of 10 was absolutely exceptional, never quite had anything like it. Anything we wanted arrived instantly.
The food made this place a truly unique experience too. The range of starters and curries was delicious.
To top it off, Raj Kitchen handles cocktails better than dedicated cocktail bars. Who knew you could pair a Bombay gin protein cocktail or tiramisu cocktail with a butter chicken? Incredible.

For a restaurant that was boasting about the head chef winning awards i was expecting something rather fantastic, there was nothing wrong with it at all, it just didnt really stand out to me, especially with me ordering one of the chefs specials dishes.
The music appeared to be the same song the entire time I was there with it also glitching quite often plus the beeping of the machine for the staff from the kitchen was rather loud and off putting.
