TL;DR: I was delivered the wrong persons order, when I brought it back to the store they gave it to the DoorDash person to deliver to the person who actually ordered it. I was so stunned. I left then threw my food away because I can’t trust it wasn’t mishandled.
I ordered delivery from here tonight. And the wrong order was delivered. Not their problem, they use DoorDash to deliver food. I called Raj Express and they said they could only get my food to me if I pick it up and to bring the wrong food back. Ok, annoying, but again I get it. The delivery isn’t through them and they didn’t deliver the wrong food, Door Dash did. I drove to the restaurant wrong food in hand.
When I walk in, someone asks if that was the wrong order that was delivered. I assumed this person worked for the restaurant and was going just trying to verify that the order was actually wrong and I wasn’t trying to scam them for food. I say yeah wrong name on the receipt. They go ok I’ll take it. And instead of walking into the back or throwing it away they walk out the front and get in a car and drive off. I was stunned into silence. The food that was delivered to me, returned by me was then taken to someone else to eat.
That is absolutely disgusting. I feel so bad for the person this was delivered too. If you ordered something and got a very warm mango lassi tonight then my deepest apologies. I cannot believe that a restaurant would not remake food that had been delivered to someone else’s house. I did not eat the food I picked up as I can’t imagine what other bad food safety guidelines they are ignoring. If you ordered something from here, buyer beware.
Update: They just delivered another order. I’m guessing when I marked the order as wrong on door dash they resent it. I don’t know there was no contact or confirmation.

Came out to about $15.25 before tip!
Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious! You can hardly beat the diversity of the plates!
With a name like “express” I imagined that I would be ordering from the front. Several came for to go, but most sat to eat.
One comment on the ambience… there was only one song playing the whole time, it got pretty old. It was a perfect fit, but a change would have been nice!
Excellent experience! Would definitely go back!

Update after the owners response to give details of the experience.
The day we visited, there was a very strong smell of sewer in the place. So we had to sit outside in cold as it was not tolareble to sit inside. That being said I hope it was temparory thing.
We ordered a few menu items. The person taking the order was great and helped us make our decisions.
The haka noodles were great! Other items were a bit on the sweeter side. Too sweet for our taste.
Also I have never had franky that is cut in peices and fried. They are suppose to be rolls of bread with filling inside. That was a bit odd.
Overall the food other than hakka noodles could have tasted and presented better.

Food was absolutely delicious! We always get the Thali platter because we love to try a little bit of everything. The staff was very nice and attentive and the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend!

I recently visited this restaurant and their new dine-in service is fantastic! The ambiance is cozy and inviting, and the staff are attentive and friendly. The food, as always, was exceptional—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. I tried their thali platter which had numerous options of entrees.The butter chicken and lamb biryani were standouts, paired perfectly with their freshly baked naan. It’s great to see them expand, and I highly recommend stopping by for an authentic and delicious Indian dining experience!

First time having Indian food out in Kansas but it was Hands down it was amazing glad I came across this restaurant! Food was great fresh the flavors were hitting the food came out quick too! Service was amazing very kind, helpful and respectful. Will come back again once when are back in town!!

It’s a good place to get the feel of Indian food. Nevertheless it’s calibrated for American palate , I ordered a veg khorma and nan which were really good , Chicken Samosa was very tasty and fresh , Chicken Biriyani was just Ok, Veg rice was decent , I ordered Tandoori Chicken, it was ok . They could have done it better, it was more blunt towards the spice note . Had a bhek puri which was bellow average due to the inadequate and blunt filling . Overall Not a bad place , they might have more better items which I might have not tried . I will try more item for sure .

Ate here a couple or few times. First time eating at an Indian restaurant. I got the Thali platter both times I went. I think it’s only available during lunchtimes. I don’t know if they still offer it. I liked how it had a bit of everything to try. I had leftovers to take home to eat another day.
Last time I went the naan got burnt and they gave me another, unfortunately that ones was also a bit burnt as well. But the rest of the food was delicious!

UPDATE: I went back to Raj for lunch on Friday. Let me just say, holy mother of God it was phenomenal! I got the chicken Tikka Masala, rice, and cheese Naan. Good lord it was amazing. Same great service, friendly people, and clean restaurant. I took a bite of the Tikka and then just stared at the bowl in amazement. This place does it right. The Tikka was a little spicier than others I have had but for me that’s a great thing. This little gem is an amazing place and I will recommend to anyone who will listen! If you’re in OP and ha e a hankering for amazing Indian food with a great staff, clean facility, and amazing food, look no further than Raj express.

It’s 5 minutes from my job.. and only 2 minutes from my previous job that I worked at for several years and I had never tried it. Boy I wish I had!
I got the chicken saag which not all Indian restaurants have saag and I love it so it was an easy choice. As you cab see, the portions were very generous. And most importantly, it was so so so delicious!
The restaurant was clean, fast, and staff was friendly. I believe it was the owner came up to me as I sat outside and asked if I needed any plates or water. They really went the extra mile when I had only placed a pick up order but decided to stay when I saw the shaded patio area.
10/5 stars. Highly recommend. I will be back very soon for saag and to try the other menu items. Great place!
