Loved the food, though I ordered my pastor tacos without onions and it came with them. I ordered rice as a side since the tacos didn’t automatically come with it. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast tacos, he said they were good 🙂
The soup was really good!! I’m not sure if it was squash or broccoli- I’ll definately ask the next time I pass by. It filled me up pretty quick, so I took my tacos as leftovers. They gave my boyfriend a bit of extra soup to take home as well just before we left.
Extra:
They have 3 small bottles of spicy sauce types you can add as a neat topping to your tacos. Hot, mild, or not spicy.
Usually in my experience ‘not spicy’ includes a bit of heat to it, but I’m pleased to say it truly wasn’t spicy at all- more of a light lime taste. I can’t tolerate anything spicy (my relatives think I’m a child because of it lol) so this was a nice option to have.
Their music selection was good, I was dancing in my seat 🙂

Found this place randomly while getting some work done on my car. It was incredible! Truly a hidden gem.
The service was excellent from start to finish! Our waiter brought out a yummy soup on the house with fresh piping hot tortilla chips while we perused the menu. Since we chose to sit outside and enjoy the cold day, this felt like such a kind and warm gesture.
Finally decided on chilaquiles with skirt steak, a torta cubana, and some coffee. The ingredients were fresh and everything was cooked to perfection. I also asked for their spiciest salsa, and the waiter brought one out unlike anything I’ve ever eaten, clearly hand beaten by mortar and pestle. Once my mouth was thoroughly on fire, we ended our meal with hot arroz con leche which was scrumptious. The waiter brought a whole bottle of cinnamon so we could add it to our liking.
If you’re looking for a cozy place with amazing food and even better service, this is it!

Just moved to Houston. My most exciting reason coming here was to have more and better Mexican food. This place made me happy with my choice. The chicken was real! These are not powder eggs! You can see the eggs they use literally. The aguas Frescas are absolutely amazing, the soup was fantastic. The service was better than anything i get back home in atlanta. Incredible place. We were here for an hour. When we got there it was empty, when we left it was full . Will definitely drive from the north side to here just for food.

Amazing, refreshing Latin food. 10 out of 10. Some of the best you can get in the city. Staff was very nice and food came out quick. It’s all in all a great place. Will be back. Thank you for the wonderful food.

Atmosphere is very cozy, but casual; feels like you’re visiting at a relatives house. All the food was delicious, served fresh and promptly. Flavors definitely leaned more towards authentic Mexican than to Tex-Mex.
Complementary soup and dessert were extremely generous touches to an already hospitable and well-prepared meal. Will definitely return!!
