Overall, I really enjoyed it. I didn’t expect to find such a clean place in downtown Portland, especially one that feels very public and well maintained. There were staff constantly cleaning, wiping tables, and sweeping, which made a great impression.

The girl at the counter was very helpful and answered all my questions. Unfortunately, they ran out of plates for dining in, so they gave me to-go boxes instead. She apologized for it and kindly provided a fork and everything else I asked for, even though I later noticed that forks were also available for self-service.

Great service, tasty food, and a very clean place. Highly recommended.

The only downside is that it was hard to find at first. I saw it nearby on the map but couldn’t locate it. Someone later explained that it’s downstairs via the escalator and through another entrance. From upstairs, there were no clear signs indicating it was there, so adding better signage would make it much easier to find.

Like In n Out, Cane’s picked one thing and mastered it. Instead of burgers, they do chicken fingers. But these are actually good! Fresh, hot, tender and juicy. The cane’s sauce that comes with them is just the right amount of creamy tangy goodness, great for dipping the crinkle cut fries. My favorite is to take the Texas toast and wrap it around a chicken finger and dip in the sauce before each bite. It isn’t health good, but it’s quite tasty.
Pro tip: if you’re not a fan of cole slaw, tell them you’d like to sub for extra toast.

First time visit. When we arrived it was about 5 and the line was so long. Good thing they were expecting this. The line moved quickly and everything was fast and fresh. The dinning room was clean and there were a couple people constantly cleaning up and very friendly. I am not usually a big fan of crinkle cut fries, but these were really crispy and delicious.

Super long lines most of the time. The food comes in plastic containers with no ventilation, so the chicken and fries end up a bit soggy.

That said, the sauce is really good and worth trying at least once if you haven’t had it before.

Delicious chicken fingers with nice staff and a convenient location located at Pioneer Place’s food court.
They offer a limited menu but the chicken and the famous sauce are very tasty.
The location was very clean with lots of seating space.
Price was very reasonable.
It’s definitely a better option than KFC or McDonald’s

In addition to my chicken’s breading falling off, I had ordered 3 Buttered on both sides toasts and got 2 chewy buttered on both sides toasts and a regular toasts. If you want to experience eating at raising canes, go to every other locations BUT portland.

I was excited to give this a try since I’ve heard good things from people but idk, I found it kind of underwhelming. The chicken is pretty decent and juicy, the lemonade is alright, I don’t like the crinkle cut fries-very bland and cardboard-like. The person at the counter was also very….shall we say “surly”, it felt very odd. The place is sort of Al aesthetic nightmare gumbo of kitsch which is usually something I’m all about but something about it feels uncanny and forced. I dunno I just didn’t have the chicken religious experience everyone I’ve talked to assured me I would have. It wasn’t AWFUL but I probably wouldn’t make a point of going here again.

Came in after my friend had a great experience in their Singapore location. We sat at the bar and ordered dumplings, book choy and noodles. All were great and delicious. Drinks were solid too. We tried the dessert dumplings and recommend skipping – they weren’t that exciting and not that good. Overall a consistent and good dinner if you’re looking for some solid noodles.

First off, the sauce hard carries. The mellow pepper compliments the chicken so well that I was honestly surprised. The breading was fine. The layer of breading was something to be desired, but I digress. The crispy side of the bread was good, and the fries were 3.9. Still good food overall. Some of the best fast food I’ve ever had, would recommend. The sweet tea was also a good mellow drink.

Downtown Portland at Pioneer Place. The night of the Christmas tree lighting event. It was our first time here. The line was long, people were rushed.
The customer service was as amazing as the food was!! That was some of the hottest, freshest chicken my son and I have had in year’s!! Although so busy, two employees came by to check on how things were. Everyone was outstanding!!!
Thank you for a great experience
