A new Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers just opened up in Peoria, and I think I speak for everyone when I say, we’re so glad you’re open! This place has been nonstop busy since opening. On opening night alone, the drive-thru line was literally two blocks long. I had friends who waited about 45 minutes in that line, and they said the chicken was still hot and fresh when they finally got it, they were very satisfied and honestly, that’s impressive. When we ate here for the very first time there was so much activity behind the counter, I’m talking at least 20 employees! Happy employees who enjoyed doing their job, it was refreshing, and they all had great customer service! Despite the fact there were so many people and how crowded it was they were able to make it run smoothly and everyone was still so kind!
The food is pretty good overall, and I know a lot of people are huge fans of Cane’s sauce. I truly believe some folks go there just for that sauce alone! The coleslaw is sweet and crisp and the garlic toast is always hot and buttery. Would be nice to see them have some sort of a dessert on the menu board down the road!
The drive-thru setup is also really unique. Instead of just a window, they actually have a door where employees can walk out to deliver food. I’ve never seen anything like that before, but it seems more convenient and probably makes things run more smoothly during the rush.
I love how they decorate their restaurants with the disco balls and the Cane’s mural with the bricks somewhere located in the restaurant. I find that there’s usually at least one unique table too. I like how they’re all unique in their own ways but similar at the same time!
Prices are decent, the chicken is fresh, and the hype is real. If you’re thinking eating out for dinner, go get you some Cane’s!

This place was good, but I won’t eat here again. Im sorry, but It was basic. Ill give it a 5 star due to this being a new establishment, plus the service was very top tier and friendly.
I ended up getting the Caniac Meal Which Costed me $18.41. The meal included 6 tenders, fries, a piece of toast, a small cup of coleslaw, a large drink, and 2 cups of canes sauce. The tenders were juicy. The toast was moist and crisp. The cold slaw was good and the fries were mid. But the canes sauce was the best out of the whole meal.
I only went there for the experience because it’s a new establishment. But I definitely won’t be back. For close to $19, I can make better tenders & fries at home. If I ever spent another dollar there, it would just be me buying the canes sauce.

Went to raising canes tonight for the first time and cannot wait to go back!!! The lines were INSANE and I can see why. The food was so fresh and delicious. The iced tea wasn’t good at all as it just tasted like straight water but the rest of the food was great!

The best part of this meal was the sauce and the bread. The chicken strip breading was just flaking away and thin, no seasoning at all and the chicken was pretty low quality (felt like each one had a thick tendon or non rendered fat running through it) fries were soggy and over salted. Might go back at a later date and try it again.

The chicken was okay and came out very quickly. I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. We only received one small sauce container for four strips. The fries tasted like basic frozen crinkle-cut fries. The place was dirty, with food left all over the tables. It was busy, and I did notice someone start cleaning near the end of our meal. The sauce itself was just okay, and I don’t really understand the hype. There’s also no parking available right now, as it looks like half of the lot is still under construction.

Not sure if they are in training or what but check out the photo. Probably the worst chicken tenders I’ve ever had that was more than 11$. I’ve had better bar tenders for less. Hardly battered, tiny, the fries were longer than the chicken. The toasted bread was the best part. Now the service was excellent. I came at 10:15pm and they had plenty of staff. Hardly any wait which was good. Beautiful store, parking is tight from what I saw but it was at night. Doubt I’ll be back, better places in town to spend my money.

I specifically asked for lemonade and they gave me a cup for soda instead, which was annoying from the start. The restaurant itself was pretty dirty, and to make it worse there was even hair in the food, which is completely unacceptable. That alone ruined the experience. The food was honestly mid and didn’t make up for any of the issues at all. For the price and the hype around Cane’s, I expected way better. Overall, not a good experience and I probably wouldn’t come back.

Yes it’s just chicken fingers! But they are some of the best I have ever eaten. Along with the sauce and the bread that I have tried many times to duplicate since moving back home from TX where there were Raisin Canes on every block. I wish you continued success in the business! Restaurant Bizz is not for the weak.

Great service. Super fast and friendly . Even with a long drive through like you probably won’t wait very long. Pretty basic food. Decent chicken tenders with decent fries. Cain’s sauce is different than most other chain sauces and it’s decent. Disappointed in no barbeque sauce but the honey mustard was decent. Prices are fair but still a touch high. I’ll be back here when I’m craving this style of tender and fries but will probably bring my own BBQ sauce…as long as the prices aren’t sky high by that time.
