Stopped by the Raising Cane’s in Kokomo, and honestly, this location stands out compared to the others I’ve been to. The chicken here just tastes fresher, crispier, juicier, and overall more satisfying, almost like they’re a bit more dialed in behind the scenes. Service was excellent as always, with staff who move fast, stay friendly, and make the whole visit feel smooth. The dining area was clean, with wiped-down tables and no clutter, which isn’t always guaranteed at busy fast-food spots. Restrooms were also clean and well maintained, something I always appreciate. The only odd part is the parking lot. There’s plenty of space, but depending on which direction you’re coming from, the entrance can feel a little funky to navigate. Once you’re in, though, it’s easy to park and get inside quickly. Overall, this Cane’s feels like it puts a bit more care into the food and the customer experience, making it my preferred stop when I’m craving chicken.

I love Canes I’ve been to several locations and was excited to finally get one in Kokomo. Definitely will be going back. We got the chicken strips baskets chicken was hot and delicious and Texas toast a favorite of mine their French fries are just average to me but the canes sauce is delicious. We had a pretty long line at drive through but honestly it went pretty fast and our order was correct.

Some of the best fast food chicken ever.
This location has disco balls in the dining room lol Not sure if this is a standard thing since only other ones I’ve been to were in a food court type setup. Also the music was all upbeat. Most people we saw coming in to order at one time or another was doing a little dance! You’d have thought it was a Friday afternoon or weekend but nope, just Wednesday lunch haha
Staff was friendly and helpful, always a plus!

Food is always fresh and they have great customer service. The only thing I have to say is that they put way too much ice in fountain drinks. They treat every cup like it has hot iced tea in it and fill it to the brim with ice.

Update: a year later
While the food still tastes good, I am tired of getting ripped off at this point. My last meal was the last time I will be visiting this establishment for a long while. I ordered a box combo with no slaw and extra fries. The tenders came out being about three bites each. There were no extra fries and the fries that I did have were soggy. It is sad to see something that once was worth the drive to Markland nosedive after a year or so in service.
Original:
Get ready to order chicken fingers or chicken fingers on a bun! Your options are limited, but the options are good. Chicken fingers are smaller than others but very moist. Fries are decent but not very crispy. If you get it to go, then everything becomes soggy, so dine in. Staff are great.
The Downside is that the place can get very loud. Between the staff yelling orders and people talking over that. It is not somewhere to go with a headache. All in all, good food and good staff means I will be back.

Really good fried chicken and very clean restaurant. The staff are friendly. The dinning area is a little cold feeling with seating intended for quick turnaround.
Not a wide variety of meal choices, chicken and fries, is pretty much it. Only one flavor dipping sauce, and it’s unique, but not my favorite. It is a fun place to eat and family friendly.
Quick from order to receiving your food.
Very clean.

I went to Raising Canes a few months after they first opened. I gave them a few months to figure everything out and for the hype to die down. Granted that I love raising canes and that i would drive to lafayette just for some. When I tried it the first time, I sat down outside the restaurant. I usually look forward to the crispy chicken tenders and the crispy fries. I even asked for crispy aswell. Fries were very soggy and the breading of the chicken would just fall right off. I figured this was because they were busy and they were new.
Had a friend tell me that they had improved so I decided to try it again after a few years. This time nobody was in the drive through before me and I ordered crispy everything as usual. Pulled over right away to try it and I couldn’t believe that it was even more soggy than last time. Breading was falling off into the container. Fries just fell right over not even stiff. Toast was even limp aswell.
Not sure if i’ll be back after the past experiences.

The chicken was hot and tasted great. The Cole slaw was not mind blowing or anything very tasty, just meh. The bread was good but I didn’t really want it and i didn’t get fries as I don’t eat them. Overall great chicken and service, but other than that it was meh. Recommended but just the great chicken at this point as there other offerings are meh.

I usually like it when restaurants have a diverse menu, but there’s also advantages to a simple menu when the few items offered are made well… it makes ordering easy. My wife and I shared the Caniac combo meal on our first visit to Cain’s, and we were happy with everything. All of our food tasted freshly made. The tenders were delicious, and I liked the dipping sauce that came with them. The fries were nothing special, but still good. I liked the coleslaw, though it was a little bland for my taste. The Texas toast was good. The restaurant was clean and the service was fast and friendly.

Chicken was fried just perfect, nice hot and juicy, how fried chicken should be cooked. Not a fan of the sauce, so I am glad yall have other options. Drivethrough was clean and spacious, and friendly interaction with the lady handling my order. Thank you for caring about your customers!
