Tried Raising Cane’s and had their chicken burger — it was honestly so good. The place had a lively, welcoming vibe with people enjoying their meals. Everything was clean and well-kept, and the staff were friendly. A simple meal turned into a really pleasant experience. Definitely a spot worth visiting again!

Very disappointed in my experience. I had already purchased my food and wanted to wash my hands in the restroom. The doors had a key pad on them. When I asked the employee how to get into them, she told me that there is a code below the key pad. I’m not sure if I just couldn’t see it or what, but I could not find the code. Eventually another employee came and told me what the code was. I wish someone had just told me what it was in the first place. It was a very frustrating experience.

The food was pretty good and the tea is good. Staff was very nice.
However, they keep the place freezing cold and the 15 ceiling fans going making it worse. We moved tables 3 times and were unsuccessful in trying to get away from the fans. It was 17 degrees that day and we may as well have eaten outside. Food was instantly COLD maybe one bite was luke warm, then tasted like it came straight out of the refrigerator. It was like sitting in an outside ice box making it very uncomfortable and uninviting. We ate in winter coats.
Also, Athens doesn’t have a huge crime problem, but you need a code to enter the restrooms. Quite possibly the only restaurant in town that has codes on the restroom doors.
Save your money and go to the local chicken establishments is my advice.

First time eating there, the food was delicious. We will definitely be back. What made it even better was the gentleman Zack that stopped and spoke with us while we were eating. He was so polite and made you feel very comfortable eating there. Made sure everything was ok and to see if we needed anything. To me that is service and most places anymore you don’t get that. I’ve been there twice in the past week and this staff delivers excellent and speedy service every single time. For such a high demand and busy new location in Athens, they still keep the wait times as short as possible (never waited more than 10 minutes for food after ordering) and do not make you wait for your food. The portions are great and you get bigger pieces of chicken and a more consistent taste than you would at the chicken place down the street. The dining area was always kept clean and they had someone on the floor at all times wiping counters down. Truly cannot commend the staff enough for how much work they do; handling online orders, taking orders at the register, packing food, calling it out, AND still welcoming people as they come in through the door even if they’re slammed. It cannot be easy to do that but they do and they don’t sacrifice the quality of food or service for it 🙂 The only thing that was a little weird was the officer who is ALWAYS in the corner staring people down? I did not want to dine anywhere near him because it felt so obvious we were being watched so we just get to-go.

Wasn’t too busy, usually come every week after physical therapy to have my favorite Chicken Sandwich is the bestest!
That’s what I was attempting to order but the music and noise was so loud what I received was the 3 finger combo. It was ok and all good so why complain.
Dumped my tray and as I stepped outside the door onto the sidewalk I was “ambushed” by Athens PD!! Guess they were on both sides of the building because the assistant restaurant leader has an issue with me, guess they believed I had a 9MM handgun on me (which I did NOT!) so they were prepared?? IDK?
I was humiliated, embarrassed and ashamed when I should have been NONE of those!! To top it all off the was one of my neighbors in there eating watching me be detained and arrested. I heard it the next day.
I was eventually ARRESTED and HANDCUFFED right there on the sidewalk by Raising Cane’s as well as Permanently Trespassed. Another unrelated charge was also sited.
I’m now ban from ever returning,to enter, come near or eat there ever again. I was NEVER EVER told Not to come to Rasing Cains or that I couldn’t come to eat because there was NO reason why I couldn’t. NEVER did anything in there but EAT! Either Carry-out, alone or with friends and family. Now ALL of that is GONE.
The true sad part is that my recent ex-girlfriend who IS the assistant restaurant leader there is the person that called me in to the Athens PD and signed the trespass order!!
Someone could have seriously gotten hurt if anything had gone wrong at all!!

A huge disappointment. I expected a lot more from canes in this new location. I’m guessing the college kids have an impact because it’s a college town. I’ve been to many throughout my life. I’ve never had this problem. The chicken was as dry as the desert, and the fries were disgusting. The sauce didn’t hit the spot. The customer service was horrible. I sincerely hope that they can change this and improve. This isn’t the Kanes standard.

As always the food was great. But this is in a college town. So parking is crazy. LOL
My family was on our way home from vacation and I picked this location without even thinking about it. Driving a full size F150 and another car following me was comical trying to find spots to park.
