We decided to go between lunch and dinner because the lines during other times are just ridiculous due to all the hype of this new establishment.
We waited about 10 minutes in line and we were outside the door when we got in line.
The cashier taking our order was enthusiastic and happy to help this new customer. I’ve never had Raising Cane’s before. I was quite surprised by his enthusiasm because I’m sure he was exhausted just looking how busy they were.
Order came out no more than 10 minutes after. Food was amazing! But the next time I would get more sauce.
We were one of the lucky ones to get a seat. Most people were leaving with to go bags because it was so insanely busy.
Definitely will visit again but maybe when the hype is over.
First and foremost, the location is very accessible, with plenty of parking space, which is always a plus. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a clean, bright, and welcoming atmosphere that sets the perfect tone for a fast food dining experience. The staff was friendly and enthusiastic, eager to share the Raising Cane’s experience.
Now, onto the main event – the food! Raising Cane’s is known for its simplicity, and they do it exceptionally well. I ordered the classic Chicken Combo, which comes with three crispy tenders, crinkle-cut fries, and Texas toast, along with their signature Cane’s Sauce. The chicken tenders were perfectly cooked – incredibly tender and juicy on the inside, with a satisfyingly crispy exterior that wasn’t overly greasy. The portion size was generous, leaving me more than satisfied.
The crinkle-cut fries were a delightful side, seasoned just right, and the Texas toast was a fantastic addition that contrasted beautifully with the chicken. The Cane’s Sauce? Absolutely addictive – a perfect blend of smoky and tangy flavors that elevated the meal. I could easily see myself ordering an extra cup of sauce for my fries.
I also appreciated the straightforward menu. Sometimes, less is more, and Raising Cane’s nails this concept with their focus on quality over quantity. The prices were reasonable for the portion sizes, making it a great value for the quality of food offered.
The dining area was spacious and well-organized, with plenty of seating for both individuals and families. Even during peak hours, the staff worked diligently to keep everything moving smoothly, ensuring that the dining experience was enjoyable and not rushed.
Overall, my visit to Raising Cane’s in Fairfield was fantastic! Whether you’re a longtime fan or trying it for the first time, I highly recommend checking it out. It’s a wonderful addition to the local food scene, and I look forward to returning for more of those delicious chicken tenders!
The line outside to get in was very organized and moved fairly quickly. Once inside we were lucky enough to find a table quickly as well.
Even though it was noisy, and there is music playing, there needs to be a better way to call out orders. To hear someone constantly screaming “LOVE FOR SMITH!” or whomever is not enjoyable to hear. Either switch to a digital board that shows the names or set up multiple speakers throughout the restaurant so you don’t have to yell.
I liked the booths to sit in by the window. Has someone who’s very tall I like to have my legs hang so these were the most comfortable seats.
I got the Caniac Combo with chicken and sauce and while the chicken itself was juicy, I would say it was a bit watery.
The Texas toast was excellent and I would recommend adding a second piece to anyone ordering it.
We did not like the coleslaw however as we found it to have no flavor and the fries were very basic crinkle fries without any flavoring.
The chicken is served very hot, so you may need to wait a minute for to cool down before eating.
There are two individual bathrooms. They are not separated by gender which gives the same wait time for either male or female. I think this is the most efficient way to have bathrooms going forward. Also the bathrooms were very clean. They also have a coat hook on the wall and the toilet paper dispenser was put in the proper place, unlike many other locations that put it way too close to the toilet.
At this point I think we’ve tried every major chicken chain and another couple dozen local ones, so is good to finally try a Raising Cane’s.
Coleslaw was very meh needs more zing
The chicken and fries were ok but nothing special
Th canes sauce was nice but way over hyped
Chic fil a and Big Mac sauce are much better than. Canes sauces
Finally we ordered the Canaiac combo it was over $20 for 6 chicken finger & fries
