The gluten free pizza is huge! And it’s not cauliflower crust . I think for the size $20 cheese pizza is worth it because of the portions. You can get different base sauces like spicy red. Added toppings cost more. I only get take out. The bartender is interesting. You walk in and feel a little weird/judged. But it’s worth trying their pizza.

I happened onto to this eatery while looking to stop into the Hacienda, but it looked closed and unwelcoming, so I walked a little bit to Rai’s Pizza. Thankfully, it was a great choice. I was immediately greeted by the staff, whom asked my name, which I thought was cool. Customer service at its best when you want to know your customers by name. I introduced myself and explained I was going to order some food and review it. And with that said u was asked to please eat and give your honest review because they felt i wouldn’t be disappointed. And they’re right, the chicken wings tossed with the sweet chili sauce was awesome, and the wings were above average in size. They told they do everything here “big “. Rai’s Pizza really does. With that said, I sat down to eat and found myself using lots of napkins because the wings were dropping with sauce and you just couch help eating and wrong at the same time. I dish take moments to write my hands, but it’s hard to do with the deliciousness of food at your finger tips. I overheard a family traveling with children how much they deliciousness their meal, which added to the authenticity of my experience. It was that good. So don’t be a stranger, come here and give Rai’s Pizza a minute or more of your time – it’s a 5-star kind of place.

The white pizza in particular is pretty good – sometimes phenomenal – but quality is pretty variable. Have had pizzas here cooked anywhere from 6/10 to 10/10.
We still really like Rai’s overall, but wish they were a little more consistent. Sometimes the crust is a bit overcooked and just missing that little extra bit of I don’t know what.
Still, a great parlor, and not to be missed.

I was just driving by Rai’s pizza today and decided to stop in and try them.
Oh man, this is awesome pizza!
I ordered a slice with bacon and sweet sausage toppings and I got a huge slice of pizza which was very delicious?
I should have ordered a whole pizza for $14, because $6 for a slice is pretty steep for a slice, but in my opinion well worth it because it’s so large!
Keep up the great work!
I’ll be back to try more soon!

First time and won’t be the last. Sweet chili sauce wings, provolone cheesesteak with mushrooms and Xangos (deep fried cheesecake rolled in cinnamon sugar drizzled with caramel). Everything is great, love the steak, I asked for extra seasoning. Really want to try more menu items.

After hearing about Rai’s from the FB group ‘Northern Virginia Foodies’ since it opened…I was finally in the area and able to grab a pizza for lunch! It most certainly did not disappoint. The smell, taste, crust, sauce, and fresh tomato, mozzarella, and basil it was delicious. Simply put there is no other way to describe it. I will be going back to try other deliciousness on their menu.

We picked up rather than have it delivered, and everything was great. Loved the food. Generous portions, and great ingredients. I can’t believe I have been here so long, and somehow overlooked Rai’s. They are definitely on our rotation now! Highly recommend you try them.

New ownership of an existing “NYC Style” Pizza place. Good Pizza dough, nice and crispy with a good flavor. Slightly expensive. Cheesesteak is good and has good amount of meat. I hope for more consistency specially for the price.
My personal perception for the amount of meat for a $20 Sub is definitely high and did not feel it’s “a lot of meat”.
Also a $25+ Pizza should have more even spread toppings and less empty plain dough. In my case, it’s fair to say that almost 25% of the “Pizza” was actually just dough.
Please work on more consistency and a better price performance ratio.

I am from New York so my standard for pizza is pretty high and I can count on one hand the pizza places in this area that meet the taste test. Rai’s makes the cut and is one of two or three pizza places I will regular when looking for that NY style pie. I ordered a breakfast pie from them and a cheesesteak, both items were hit out of the park!
If you’re a New Yorker looking for a good cheesesteak OR a New York style pizza this is your joint go and give them a shot, they are new so let’s support them and make sure the food stays this good! I will be back for more next week 😉
