The coffee is delicious and so are the breakfast sandwiches! Next time I think we’ll try their pizza. Their prices are very affordable and the staff was friendly and polite. I love the variety of food! We will be back soon!

I’ve been wanting to come here for sometime now, and being a late start I thought I’d take the kids for breakfast. Big mistake, I didn’t mind the prices and the staff was friendly… but the food (breakfast anyways) was terrible. My kids didn’t like the bacon and eggs were burnt. I got a burrito which was terrible. Burnt cheese and burnt eggs worst ever. Maybe the cook needs to turn down the grill. Sad to say won’t be spending my money here again. The first picture is cheese not bacon that I picked out of my burrito.

RIP to my favorite breakfast! I’ve been coming here on and off since 2020 and I always order the same thing: bacon breakfast sandwich, hash browns, and a 16 oz hot latte. Today we drove out from Olympia for my birthday breakfast and were sorely disappointed. The bacon breakfast sandwich and coffee were the same (although they changed the sausage patties in the sausage sandwich), but the hash browns were terrible!! Wayy too greasy and hard, plus they changed the type of patty they use. Everything was served in these super expensive looking takeout boxes, despite the sandwiches already being wrapped in foil and the previous hash browns were perfectly fine in their little bags. Why mess with perfection?? This place may have needed a new paint job, but it did not need a new menu that doubles the amount of dishes they serve, while the quality goes down. It’s nearly an hour later and I can still taste the nasty fry oil from the hash browns and my boyfriend feels kinda sick.

Did this place change ownership? The quality of food is terrible the last 2 times we’ve ordered from them! We use to get real fish and chips. I could have picked these fish sticks up at Wal-Mart today. I probably should have, then it wouldn’t have been soaked in old oil. The tater tots are falling apart, you can’t even pick them up to eat them. We won’t eat here again.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza and the cheese is burnt and crunchy when biting into it. Tried giving them a few chances and not sure who enjoys this style of pizza. Can’t recommend with this standard.

I’m loving the pizzas!! Jenny is amazing & such a hard worker. But she cooks like the best comfort, hearty, & fresh tasting food ever! The breakfast burritos w/ sausage is enuff for breakfast & lunch. My husband & I got a large pizza for lunch & it rocked our world!! Hope Jenny is a success for many many years!

I will never ever waste my time or money at the Rainier Pizza and Espresso again. I came here last week and it was fast and delicious, but today was just a no.
I left my house early because it’s out of our way and I wanted to stop here for breakfast burrito and coffee. I waited over 20 minutes ( yes I counted the time because I had a appointment at 10 am I needed to be at) for my food which I never got because I had to leave before I was late for an appointment. I figured since it took less than 5 minutes last time to get my food this place would a great option, but boy was I wrong. I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito with jalapeno ranch. I was willing to wait, but when other cars behind me was getting their food, I figured I’ll keep waiting. I pulled the trigger to leave after waiting over 20 minutes and waste 7 dollars on not receiving my burrito.
Great food, but horrible wait time on food unless you want a long wait.

Excellent food! I had the “Bunkhouse” burger. It was cooked perfectly, and very flavorful! I got it comboed with very delicious and crispy, onion rings. My wife had the “Chicken waffle campfire” sandwich. She loved it!

Updating this review. This was once a wonderful place to go to that my parents also went to as kids. Here is why i am changing this review.
What was once affordable is now more expensive than a sit down restaurant. The prices have shot thru the roof the last 3 months. The Indian food has been grossly inconsistent every time we have given this place more chances and just isnt good. The Nan was raw and dense and lifeless. The owner refused to let us change something about an item we wanted (because we have an allergy). For quite a bit less than what I’ve paid here i can get 3x the amount of Indian food that is much better and is perfectly consistent every time we visit elsewhere, so i think we’re done trying this place over and over again hoping it gets better. It just gets worse and it’s really unfortunate 🙁 and a box with 15 fries in it is absolutely not worth paying almost $6 for. We’ll go across the street for half the price from now on. Sad realization to come to because this place was so nostalgic.
Rainier Espresso and Pizza must have switched owners because this was a true gem in rainier for locals for like 40 some years. Really really sad. This was an easy 5 star stop several months ago 🙁
