Found ourselves at Animal Kingdom. My spouse loves this place so we ate there. The atmosphere is great especially for children. We ate lunch so more lightly than dinner. The food was good and our server was excellent. If looking for a place at Animal Kingdom especially with kids, this place is for you. Make a reservation. It can get crowded.

This review is based on a dinner experience shortly after Animal Kingdom park closing (approximately 6:00 – 7:00 PM) on a Saturday night. A highly themed dining experience with surprisingly good food, but be prepared for high noise levels.
The food was better than expected, and the server was very friendly, although slightly less attentive than desired.
The atmosphere is dominated by loud animatronics and a “thunderstorm sound show” that happens about every ten minutes. It is extremely loud—a fun, immersive environment, but potentially challenging for noise-sensitive guests. Our server said this is the largest Rain Forest cafe in the U.S.
Verdict: Recommended for its engaging theme and solid food, provided the high noise level is acceptable.

Great experience at Rainforest Cafe in Animal Kingdom. The anaconda pasta and python pasta were amazing. The rainforest vibe was really well done with great lighting, atmosphere, and the occasional thunder, which made it fun and immersive. Even though we had to wait a bit despite having a reservation, Ed our server was excellent and made the experience enjoyable. Would definitely go again.

We had Diddy as our waiter and he was AMAZING! Our drinks were never empty and food was brought out in good timing! I had the Python Pasta with the Pastalaya chicken and it was FANTASTIC!! You should definitely get that! The perfect amount of spice added to a creamy chicken Alfredo!!! Overall this was an amazing experience and will forever go back!! Had the Sirloin Steak and Shrimp at the Rainforest Cafe in Animal Kingdom, which was really good! The steak was cooked perfectly and super tender, and the shrimp had great flavour, just the right amount of seasoning. The rice and veggies on the side were tasty too, nothing fancy but a good balance to the meal.
The atmosphere is super fun, with all the jungle sounds and animatronic animals — definitely adds to the experience. Service was friendly and fast even though the place was pretty busy.
Overall, it’s a great spot to grab a solid meal after walking around the park all day. A bit pricey, but you’re definitely paying for the experience too.

I ordered the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and asked for it to be well done no pink. My burger showed up with it being medium rare. I also ordered my child a cheese pizza with two go-gurts because what kid doesn’t love go-gurt. Her plate arrived with the pizza being to cheese. She couldn’t even eat the pizza because of the cheese. I give her a A for effort. Her plate arrived with one go-gurt and half of an orange. My receipt came and I was charged for corn for her. I didn’t even order corn for her plus corn wasn’t even on her plate. I am very disappointed in the service and food especially paying 57.34. Maybe the waiter had a off day or maybe he was just slammed with tables.

If you are going to Rainforest Cafe, you are going for the novelty of it all. The atmosphere is fun and engaging, especially for kiddos. There are animatronic animals, wild sounds, changes in lighting, and a lot of energy. Our family had reservations for this restaurant as the Animal Kingdom park closed. The check-in attendant was rude and in a rush…you have to remember, the Rainforest employees are not Disney cast members, so that level of Disney attention isn’t a given. Our server, Sebastian, was great. He was taking care of several tables. He checked in on us several times throughout our time.
It did take over 40 minutes for our food to come to our table. When it arrived, some entrees were already cool. The quality of the food is on-par with other chain restaurants like Chili’s or Applebees. The best thing we had was the appetizer sampler plate.
