The food was good and I really appreciated the variety of sauces. However, the customer service left much to be desired, which put a damper on our overall experience. The restaurant’s atmosphere also felt inconsistent — part of it reminded me of a casual Subway-style setup, while another area felt more like a full-service dining space.

I got a build your own bowl with Miso Salmon, and it was amazing ^-^
I’ve never been here before and the staff were super friendly and offered to answer any questions I had. It was a lovely experience and I will definitely be back!
I actually walked over from the Discount Tire store to have lunch while they work on my car. Super convenient haha

Rainbows is going down hill. I got the Miso Salmon and it looks like it was cut in half. The thinnest salmon I have ever seen and super dry. $4.50 for that. Absolutely ridiculous. I want my money back and will not be going back at least for a very long time.

Food was very good. Ramen wasn’t the best that I’ve had but pretty high in the list. Definitely came out really quickly too, which I appreciated. A nice little set up inside with nice decor. It wasn’t too busy on a Sunday afternoon which was also nice.

Placed a large take out order for dinner for family. My sister is a vegan so it’s great that this place has customizable bowl options. We ordered a lot of the custom poke bowls and i got a brown sugar milk tea. The food itself tasted fresh, but we noticed when we unpacked the takeout that a lot of bowl ingredients were missing and my brown sugar tea was actually a matcha not quite the same taste but luckily this place is 2 minutes from my home. The girls working there were super helpful and remade my drink and packed a bag with the missing ingredients. It may have just been they were under training or a lot of orders, so I’ll definitely give this place another try because I love me some ramen and it’s highly reviewed.

I love Poke bowls so I was excited to go to this place. Good things: the dining area was clean and I like how you can construct your own bowl to your liking and the taste was good. It also was beneficial that the food comes in a bowl that can easily be covered by a top if you are unable to finish it. Negatives: The boba tea and smoothie we got were not great. I wouldn’t personally order either of those again. Also, I’m not typically critical, but the time we went the bathroom was filthy. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the day before and had trash falling out of the can and could have been swept. It was just a stark difference from the clean aesthetic where you ate. Overall, it was a decent experience and I’d go there again for food and the canned milk tea.
Update: Went a few weeks ago and they have now added Ramen bowls to the menu. It was okay, but that’s partly because it was warm when we first got it so the noodles were still sticking together in a clump. We did ask for it to be reheated which they did immediately and apologized for it not being hot enough. After that, it was fine. The place was clean and it’s still one of the few places around town where I can get a MTO Poke bowl. I’d still come here again for that, the seaweed salad, and the Milk Tea.

I think this is the only authentic Japanese Ramen noodle place you can find in Roanoke Valley. I got the spicy Tonkotsu soup base with pork chachu and it was delicious. Also recommend the Sushi wraps the Chef Special. It was light and healthy also very tasty. Service is quick and attentive and the overall “vibe” inside the restaurant is hip and modern. Can’t beat it!

I would give it 3.5 stars if I could. Nice clean looking place and friendly service. The ordering is cool because you can make your bowl however you want it. That’s a plus, but honestly it’s mostly rice. I got like 6 cubes of tuna and it was a $13 dollar bowl without any extra add ins. Regardless, It tasted good! It just wasn’t anything exceptional and I won’t find myself here too often. They go really light on the meat topping, and also can’t prep kale, I had a bunch of stems in mine.

Food had good flavor. Sushi burrito was a bit small for the price. The bowl was totally worth it. It was nice because this place was open on Easter. And, their food is pretty fresh and healthy. I would totally go back for their bowl.
