came here for the $15.99 AYCE lunch special and was not disappointed! the AYCE menu wasn’t that big compared to other sushi restaurants, but what they did have surpassed my expectations. highlights for me were the salmon nigiri and salmon avocado roll, which tasted fresh and very good.
service was quick and friendly, whenever i wanted to put in another of sushi, my server was ready on time. the ambiance is pretty laid back here, there was no wait to get in and the restaurant was only about 30% full when i was there.
i am definitely coming back next time i’m in jacksonville! the price and quality are superb

I’m pretty sure this is my 5th time at Rainbow over the past year or so. It is fast and delicious and the price cannot be beat! 2 deluxe dinners (weekend) came out to $65 after tip! Definitely cheaper if you go on a weekday or do not upgrade to deluxe meal.
Service is fast, I have never felt rushed and the servers come often to take your next order! Only thing that could use some work is the size of the restaurant, they have to really pack tables in to accommodate the crowd- but I haven’t ever had to wait for a table which is awesome. Will continue to frequent Rainbow Sushi for ayce!

My partner and I come here very often. So much so that it’s our Christmas Day spot! Staff is great, quick and nice. The food delicious. Thank you Rainbow Sushi!

I visited rainbow sushi with my family yesterday, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing! The restaurant was slightly crowded and we waited for almost two hours for two rolls that never arrived. When we politely asked about our missing orders, the waiter would repeatedly cut us off with “It’s coming” with no follow-up.
Eventually we gave up because it was too many sushi’s we were already waiting on, and we ate what had already arrived. The sushi was good but some of the quality food was also poor.
The edamame we received was mushy and tasted old, lacking any freshness or texture.
The clear soup arrived with the crunchy bits already mixed in, making the soup thick and soggy by the time It reached the table!
I was also confused when the server asked the minors at our table if we were paying separately instead of asking one of the adults.
Overall, the service felt dismissive and disorganized, and the food did not make up for the long wait or lack of attention. I regret choosing this restaurant and would not return.

Food is amazing, and the atmosphere is cozy and nice. The deep fried sushi came out really good, and the portion sizes are near-perfect. $21 for an all you can eat is a great deal. The service could have been better, as our servers were extremely quiet and we couldnt hear a word they said, and the energy was low. However towards the end another male employee was very attentive and always double checked that we were having a good time. 4.5/5

Polite staff, but food was disappointing.
The place is clean and the staff are very nice. The menu looks big and varied, but all dishes tasted almost the same. Portions were small, sushi looked a bit messy, and there were no real flavor differences. Quite expensive for this type of restaurant, and nothing really memorable.

I have never been interested in sushi, but my daughter came here for a homecoming dinner with friends before the dance and couldn’t stop raving about it. She talked us in to going tonight and I fell in love with sushi! Highly recommend this place! We’ll be back!

Always good here. Not a fancy sushi place but you can get a lot of different things for the price of two rolls somewhere else. Me and my son eat an average of 30 pieces of sushi each and we really enjoy this place

This is our go to date spot! Is it the most authentic Japanese cuisine? Are the guys at the sushi bar actual sushi chefs? No, but no matter how incredibly busy they are, the service is super speedy and attentive. They’re constantly clearing plates and refilling drinks. I love sashimi, and the fish here is always incredibly fresh! For the price, you truly cannot beat it.
Some of these negative reviews are bizarre. One because a kid was getting sick next to them? How is that the restaurants fault? Same with the complaints about the size of the sushi. It’s ALL YOU CAN EAT. Just order another one.
