The service and atmosphere is so nostalgic. It was a diner setting. The staff was very polite and kind . The food came out quickly! The cheese bites were amazing along with the other food. I recommend the tempura shrimp and ribs! Very tender and cooked to perfection. The cabbage was very flavorful and tender also! Great price for a good amount of food. We ended up with leftovers! Definitely try this place!

I’ve driven past Rainbow Restaurant so many times and thought I bet it is a nice home-style restaurant. I wasn’t disappointed. We were greeted upon entry. There was a short wait, but to be expected on a Sunday afternoon. Once seated, our waitress brought us water and menus to start. The atmosphere felt like a classic diner. It was very comfortable. We didn’t have to wait long to be served our food, and it was delicious. Our waitress, Amber, was very friendly, helpful, and patient. Our hostess explained Rainbow is the longest running restaurant in Fayetteville having opened in 1938. I’m looking forward to our next meal there.

Everything was great! The staff, the kitchen, cleanliness of the restaurant and parking lot. Even though the kitchen was short staffed the food came out hot and correct. The cooks were communicating and working very well together as we could see see through the service window. Only thing I could ask for is maybe better portion size, but the freshness of the food and you could tell most of the food was homemade. It was worth the price and we’ll definitely be returning very soon.

Clean and inviting restaurant! We were seated promptly. I was super impressed with their lunch/dinner menu! They have something for whatever you desire! Our presentation, taste, and portions were perfect! Our waitress was the best as well! We’ve had Rainbow Restaurant for breakfast previously, and it’s amazing also! They weren’t super busy when I came in, but it took forever to get water. It also took forever to have my order taken. It took forever to get what I’m guessing is a snack while I waited forever to get my entree – the snack was crackers.

Great diner food. We went for breakfast. Each got Chicken Fried Steak with potatoes and biscuits and split a waffle. Everything was good. The gravy was good and the biscuits were delicious. The meal came with 2 eggs that we ordered over easy and were cooked accurately.
Staff was quick and nice. They kept my water full and were attentive. Even though it was busy we got seated quickly and got our food quickly too.

Lovely cute little restaurant, I had time to kill so found this on Google maps, relaxed and had some breakfast. The Hot chocolate was amazing!! Hope my server was lovely and she was awesome. Will definitely be going back.
