Food was delicious and service was excellent! I had one of the current specials, breakfast tacos, and they were incredible and filled to the brim. They should become a permanent menu item. Our waitress, Ari, was great! We’ll definitely be back!

Haven’t been in for sometime, so my wife and I decided to get a late breakfast this last Thursday. Last time we came it was under different ownership. I always enjoyed the food, but I was surprised—pleasantly surprised that is, by the few small changes I thought I noticed. My wife agreed! Jess took care of us, and she claimed she was basically brand new at rainbow grill. We only found it difficult to believe because how phenomenal her service was!! She was knowledgeable, she never stopped hustling, and she had us genuinely laughing. Food is great; I think portions are more than fair for the price point and quality. With that being said: you can get good food all over the grand rapids area, but the special treatment and memorable positive experience jess left is with is the sole reason we’ll be back. Servers don’t serve like her anymore, thank you Jess and thank you rainbow grill!!!

Our server, Kayla, was absolutely fantastic. She was attentive without being overbearing, made great menu recommendations, and ensured that everything came out perfectly timed. Her friendly attitude and genuine care made us feel like valued guests the entire evening.

My first clue should have been that the parking lot was not full. 2nd clue they are now open 7days a week. New ownership? Portions were not compatible with prices. Breakfast was very small. Eggs were warm inside sausage had no flavor and were cold. Bacon undercooked and again no flavor, ham steak? Very small and very thin. Hash browns were less than half what I used to get. This used to be a great place for a hearty breakfast and good food. Sorry to say it was my last visit. It wasn’t worth the trip I took to get there. Very disappointed and I can’t recommend this place.

Had the pleasure of meeting the manager Jenna, server Jenn and the chef Chad. It’s been two years since I last dined and it was lack luster. My server Jenn was so nice, breakfast was delicious and the manager stopped by our table! Glad to see the new management keeping that home town friendly feel I’ve always loved. Happy that atmosphere and friendly faces have returned! My family will be back!

This is an older down home restaurant. Our server was very friendly and gave us very good service. We ordered chicken fried steak. The meal was tasty topped with a delicious gravy. They offer daily breafast and dinner specials. The pricea overall were reasonable. The only negative was we had trouble finding the person to pay when we were ready to leave.

Love rainbow grill!! It was our first time here, we were traveling and are from out of town! Jess was our server and she made our experience unforgettable!! We loved our French vanilla cappuccino that Jess really spruced up for us. At her recommendation we had the French toast combo special!! How delicious!!! Jess was an absolute doll, we will have to travel this way again sometime in hopes of seeing her!!! Definitely recommend
