A wonderful little mom and pop dinner. We hadn’t had breakfast and were headed for a long day. Immediately. We got our drinks and ordered. Not long after, our meals arrived (see photos below), and we demolished them. All of us seemed to really enjoy the comfort food.
Decor, as I mentioned, is homey, perhaps kitschy, even. To their credit, handicapped parking and entry is available; bathroom facilities are cleanly and even decorative. I didn’t care for the fact that a staple menus item was out of stock–not good given the fact that in today’s modern world, we have freezers to store things like clam strips. Unexcusable.
Personnel were friendly, competent, and attentive. Prices were reasonable, and quantities of food were generous.

A little gem of a place to stop for lunch. Feels homey and the service was great! The salads were fresh, the chili had great flavor and the pot roast was super tender and seasoned well. The sweet potato biscuit was something I hadn’t seen before but it was so good!

I was on a business trip and we stopped in for lunch. The staff was very friendly. The place DEFINITELY had that “hometown” vibe (which I love) The food came out very quickly, and was delicious. Best part, though, were the homemade pies! They looked too good not to get. Unfortunately, the plot of land where the restaurant is located is for sale, and could potentially close it down. BUT, and this is no joke, they had a coupon at the table that offered $10,000 off the price if you brought it to the real estate broker! I hope whoever buys the land keeps the restaurant open.

Good food and pleasant service. Nice place for breakfast which i didnt know was there until we searched for place to eat. Coming from surrounding lake community so not alot of options out in woods. Typical cafe seating. Casual and worked for us.

Had the Turkey & Swiss ‘n’ Cranberry Melt which was pretty delicious, especially after coming home from a backpacking trip in the Olympics. Sampled a slice of homemade Cherry Pie with a scoop of ice cream to top off the meal. Good stuff!

An American style family owned restaurant with quiet and friendly atmosphere. The food is priced well and tasted great. And if you have a craving for pie, this is the place to go.

This is a nice place with a good amount of space between you and other guests. The service was better then average, and the food was tasty. Not a big cheddar biscuit or English muffin fan but both of those were absolutely delicious… I swear they are homemade as they should be – along with great looking homemade pies and cakes. If in the area definitely need to sit down and feast!
