My boyfriend was told by a couple guys this place would be good for fish fry. We went yesterday and the staff was friendly and checked on us, got our food right away even though it was busy. My boyfriend got the perch regular with twice baked potato with sour cream on the side, coleslaw and rye bread; he said the perch was mushy and the twice baked potato was like mashed potatoes and was expecting the potato to have skin. He also said he didn’t like the coleslaw and the tartar sauce looked old. I got the jumbo shrimp, french fries, coleslaw and rye bread; the shrimp was not jumbo it was like medium sized and it was a little overdone. I thought the coleslaw was fine and better than most places that I’ve had and also thought it could be a bigger serving, fries were good.

Awesome food totally Awesome food that is a must to experience. I Loved the walleye and loved the perch.. The Best by far consistently Great Food, service and priced, with Great home town country environment. Drinks were outstanding also, all at a GREAT price.

What’s there to say that’s negative..bar service is always spot on. No matter how busy they are every one of the staff members are friendly and seem happy to see you. Food is always hot and fairly priced. And I really like the bar stools..

Little rough on the outside. Almost drove by. GLAD WE DIDN’T. Very nice and clean on the inside. Awesome Old Fashion’s. Good food. Excellent service. Try it, you’ll like it.

Really enjoyed the Haddock .usually eat 5-6 fries,ate them all. Cole slaw was fluffy and a bit sweet. Nothing left over for tomorrow unfortunately….Great meal !
