We came here based on the recommendations from other Google Guides and were very happy with the results! The food was Amazing with 12 different types of Eggs Benedict and 20 different types of omelettes along with pancakes, waffles and traditional breakfast fare; there’s something for everyone. The service was impressive and made you feel like a regular right at the door. We will absolutely be returning!!

I have never had a bad meal here. I have been to almost every diner in Monroe County and this is my favorite by far. The food is superior to every diner I have been to. For almost two years I have been a regular now. The owner is also the head chef/cook and I think that’s what is so special about this place’s food. He takes pride in his food. Specials every weekend. I recommend the N.Y . Strip and eggs… it is a thick cut of steak. And always get the grits. You’re welcome lol.

This is a very nice diner. I’ve always wanted to try it out and was able to stop by with my daughter and granddaughter. The service was pretty fast, and the food came out fairly quickly. The food was piping hot, just the way I like it. My burger was pretty good but a little dry; I prefer mine more medium than well done. My fries were hot and crispy and didn’t even need ketchup. Unfortunately, the side of mac and cheese was not good at all; I had to add some salt and pepper to make it edible. My daughter devoured her grits and omelette, so I know they were good because she is very picky.

Let me just say this place came highly recommended by a coworker. I took his word for it as he said the food is great the proportion of food is great and the grits are good. I got the breakfast tacos which was the special and my wife got blueberry french toast with marzipan. The service was great Jenna immediately greeted us and told us to sit where we would like. She was very nice and place was pretty packed. The food was delicious. Even the grits. I normally dont eat everyones grits as though it may be simple not everyone makes it good. These grits were so good that even though I was full from the tacos i still ate it. This will now be my favorite breakfast spot in rochester.

Comfortable, friendly place with no pretense. It s the real thing – great diner food. Quiet place to talk with a friend. Tables and counter. Daily specials.. creative omelettes.and a standard fare of breakfasts that are hearty. I asked for my hash browns to be extra crispy…and they were perfectly so. Lovely place. Trains are a theme of the decor. The love for trains and the love of preparing down to earth meals is obvious. It s far from a chain or “updated family restaurant.” It’s a rare down to earth homey place. Not many are left.

My husband and I each had a great meal in this cozy railroad-themed diner filled with families while being waited on by one heck of an awesome server (psst…Kelly).
Hubby got his usual patty melt with a side of onion rings…holy cow, those onion rings were SO delicious…and obviously handmade. Big, chunky slices of onion in a golden batter…*chef’s kiss* …perfection.
I got the 2x2x2 breakfast, two scrambled eggs, 2 pancakes and choice of bacon sausage or ham and everything was scrumptious.
Bonus points for asking if we like flavored creamer for our coffee…I said “Irish Creme, if you’ve got it” and she came back with a bowl of them!!
Extra jumbo bonus points for Kelly who has a great sense of humor and managed to give back as good as she got with my jokester hubs.

Me and my family went and once we got in people were just looking and it took some time to be greeted. Once we were seated a good 20 minutes went by before we were asked about water or anything. We waited even longer for our food. The waitresses were off putting and all over the place. So many different tables waiting on their food because there was like 3 to 4 people working.
