This place is great. Both the Detroit and New Haven pies are delicious. The Ceasar salad can serve a family and has delicious pizza crust croutons. The Pink Cutlet chicken sandwich was light and devine. Probably the best pizza on the South Coast. Nice cozy atmosphere and the staff is super friendly. Can’t wait to come again.

Way overpriced for the quality of pizza you get. Their business model is too elite for the food they are producing. Minimum order, have to select pickup time, limited number of pizzas a day. Crazy. Paid over $60 for these pizzas. Crust was so chewy on the Detroit style you could not cut it with a fork. Too many places around town with better pizza for better value with better customer service. You can see the lack of caring in how the toppings are on the pizza and how they are cut. No consistency at all.

Great atmosphere. Going back in time in an old Rail ~ Road car. Pizza was perfect. Cheese w mushrooms. By the time I got my Camera to take this picture, it was almost gone. Try it, you won’t be disappointed. I tried the thin crust. Next time it will be the deep dish I’ll try. Enjoy.

Cute little spot. We had takeout pizza and it was good. The sauce was a touch sweet for me, but the crust had a nice crunch.

I ordered a cheese pizza, crispy and an appetizer of meatballs. The pizza was different. Very crispy. I found it to be on the thin side for a regular pizza. The sauce was a bit sweet. It could use a little more spice. The meatballs (3) were very fresh and tasty. Again, the sauce was a bit sweet. The food was very fresh. Meatballs were good. I think that I’ll try the Detroit style crust next time. Not bad at all, however a little pricey for what you get.

The food was absolutely delicious!!! The ceasar salad was fresh and has warm pieces of focaccia croutons. It is made with a fresh dressing which has a hint of lemon! One order was more than enough for two people. My husband had the French onion soup. It had sourdough bread in it and more than enough cheese covering it. We shared the meat sweats pizza. We had the thin crust. It was divine! The pizza is cooked in a wood fire oven and it came out perfect! The dough is not too thin. I don’t like tortilla chip thin. They do have a thicker crust as well. The sauce is a smidge sweet. No bitter flavor. The sausage, bacon, meatball and pepperoni topping were plentiful and tasty. This will be our new go to for pizza!! The only negative comment is that my lower body got cold in there. Every business that has been there has had the same issue. They do have a take out window which I would highly recommend. There are only a few small tables inside. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend you give it a try!!

If you are looking for a local New Haven style pizza . This is the place to get it. The ronis and crispy and the meatball pizza taste amazing. Or even a basic cheese is delicious.

Fantastic pizza! We tried the Roni Detroit style, and the Shroomin and Fig and Pig both New Haven style, and everything was absolutely delicious! The sauce has a perfect hint of sweetness and we would definitely get them each again! While the $40 minimum isn’t a problem for us, we can see how that’d be an issue for some single folks. The time slots for online ordering will hopefully open up more the longer the place is open. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

$71 pizza order(including tax+tip)
– All 3 pizzas were raw/ extremely undercooked, floppy, soggy, gummy. I refused to eat mine after a few bites and spitting it out. Others had to turn on the oven, wait for it to heat up and cook theirs. They were still not good at all, sadly.
– I drove back with mine and they agreed it was undercooked as I also showed pics of the other pizzas. They kindly said they would give a full refund on the credit card(I hope also the tip). This is the right thing to do, thank you for that.
– You could buy about 10-15 frozen pizzas from Walmart that taste much better than this, which is extremely sad to say. Or, 3x more pizzas from Papa John’s/Domino’s or any other chain for this price that also taste SO much better, which is also extremely sad to say.
Not mad, very disappointed(although it also was a waste of my time, gas, ruined the night and even more time to come here to leave you an extended review). Here’s some tips:
1.) Believe there is a problem.
2.) Take less orders/night, but open the phone line.
3.) Set standards. Triple check all orders on whether they’re completed fully to order and made correctly. If you don’t have time to check them for perfection, you’ve taken too many orders for the manpower you have.
4.) Understand that you’re not Walmart, you’re a small business in 2025. I love mom & pop shops, but only when they try/succeed at being superior. This was one one of the most terrible pizzas I’ve ever ordered.. This is helpful criticism.
5.) You can refer to tip 1, or potentially shut down fairly quickly after the rush of people die out if you don’t make changes sooner than later.
Bonus tip.) Consider lowering prices because even after cooking them in our own oven, the tastes were not worth the money in the least bit/not good/not worth the calories and were fed to animals.
Things you’re doing right that I experienced: full refund & a lady at the counter who didn’t make it difficult for that. Decisions like that give you potential though! Thank you.
****EDIT: I’m trying to say this in the nicest way possible, I don’t mean it to sound rude at all, it’s just facts. Owner replied blaming the oven instead of acknowledging the fact he decided to serve people raw pizza. He very well could have put it back in or canceled all orders for the night if the statement is true about the oven not working correctly. He also guilt tripped someone else who wrote a review on their experience with this order(since we combined our order into one) and they took it down because of that. Both people had a negative experience, both people deserve to write a review on similar and different parts of their experience without being guilt tripped.
This whole experience is giving me flashbacks to Chef Ramsey’s old “kitchen nightmares” TV show, lol. I’m trying to be helpful and transparent, I’m sorry if it is upsetting. Don’t try to tell me I’m kicking a small business. You kicked yourself and you’re trying to guilt trip negative reviewers. Everyone deserves their review if they were part of an order or tried to order in some way(other reviewers).

I went there for the first time tonight with my 3 kids, as my son’s birthday was today and I told him he could pick anywhere to go and this was his choice because as he says “their pizza is so good”. Our waitress was amazing, but the other staff members around were also wonderful. Food was great and came out in a timely fashion and it really was an amazing place overall. We will be back and thank you for everything tonight!!
