My family and I stumbled on this restaurant on our way to another one. My hubby and I shared a plate- tug-boat platter- Fish in beer batter and grilled shrimp with green beans and rice. The rice was good too(iykyk) The sweet potato fries were good too. The house remoulade sauce was good and thick. The calamari was not as good as the fish. No flavor. We have had better. The atmosphere was nice. We had the patio to ourselves (early) and weather was pleasant. Our waitress Sam was good too!! Would come back again!

The best part of our visit was the shrimp appetizer, it was actually really good. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. Our meals took forever to come out, and when they finally did, they were cold. The fries were soggy and unappetizing, and my daughter wouldn’t even touch her chicken nuggets. The popcorn shrimp was just okay, but the po’ boy was smothered in so much mayo or relish that it was nearly inedible.
Overall, the food was disappointing and the service was just as bad. Definitely not the experience we were hoping for.

We love this place either before or after an event at the Hilliard Center or Whatabuger field. Great beer options with full wine selection. Cocktail specials are available with a full bar. Huge bar area, outdoor dining and attentive staff. The fries are delicious. On Saturday they have a redfish taco special for $26.99. Key lime pie is always available.

I had an absolutely wonderful time during my recent visit to Railroad Seafood & Brewery – Downtown. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was amazing — flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared.
What truly made our experience special was our server, Grace. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure everything was just right throughout our meal. Her positive attitude and friendly service added a personal touch that we really appreciated.

This is a neat little place in corpus. The food was excellent, and the beer was nice and cold. We got hamburgers, grilled redfish, coconut shrimp, and a flight of house beers. Everything was wonderful. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Corpus.

Saturday ate there with a friend. The server was also the bartender, so we had plenty of attention. I informed the server my food allergy and she gave my order to the kitchen. I am allergic to onion, and my veggies came out steamed in onion, my potatoes seared with onion. This is a simple request, when a plate of food costs $25.00 or more, please at least make sure the patron can consume the food. Most people are unaware, food allergies are a real thing. I made a comment “People think onion enhances food, when all it does is make everything taste like onion.”
Too bad for me, I couldn’t eat my sides. Next time i visit I’ll just have fish and salad.

Food was excellent, fresh and top order !!! Our waitress Becca was prompt and kind ! We came for a birthday celebration for one of my employees! And had a great time so don’t forget Railroads can also do Birthday celebrations ! Oh and bathrooms were fresh and clean ! Enjoy and till next time !!!!

Really great place to eat. Great service and great food. A little loud, but not overwhelming. Definitely recommend the burgers and the salads. Large portions and decent prices. The broiled catfish was absolutely delicious. Make sure to stop by if you are ever in the area. One think to note….they serve their fries mixed with regular and sweet potato fries called hobo. If you dont want that, you have to tell them.
