My 1st time there. It was lunch time so it was a bit crowded. My daughter & I chose to sit at the bar rather than wait on a table. The bartender was very attentive and took our orders quickly. The food was delicious. Yes it was a little pricey, however, the amount of food on the plate was quite generous! I would go back for sure.

Great place with nice patio..food was good during lunch..had the appetizer platter and Seared tuna..no complaints here. Drinks were good also. Our waiter David was really nice and helpful with menu questions. Will def return. Oh ..and it’s pet friendly on patio.. kid friendly also.

We tried this place, great different place to eat. It was roomy, nestled in a bed of mesquite trees. This kind of reminded me of some of the hill country restaurants, very laid back and comfortable. They also had some seating outside and a little playground area. The food was great tasting. My husband had the shrimp plate and I had the crispy flounder plate. We ordered some onion rings, which were a little on the greasy side but served with a remoulade sauce. The flounder was very crispy with the panko breading. The corn was different but very flavorful. The shrimp was butterflied and lightly battered. The potatoes were very good along with the broccoli slaw. Great service, a regular waitress along with a trainee. Restroom were very clean, which I appreciated. We plan to return.

DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Very big misses for this location during our visit. The floor manager appeared annoyed to be at work, she was not welcoming and did NOT thank us for the business upon leaving. The waitstaff were scatterbrained. It look 45 minutes to get our appetizer, then another hour for us to get a burger and catfish plate. The catfish pieces were nuggets, not fillets. The onion rings and cheesy grits were $2.50 extra for each side… and they were both flavorless. The rings were soaked in old oil and soggy. Sawdust would have more flavor than the grits. The burger had rotten avocado (yuck) and soggy fries. The iced tea was also cloudy (yuck yuck yuck). Go somewhere where your business is appreciated. Hopefully the management of this location will get things fixed.

We enjoyed our first experience here. We came during lunchtime. We were seated immediately. We wanted a booth which they had a few. We ordered mozzarella sticks for appetizer, MahiMahi blackened and Jumbo shrimp beer battered. Our sides were broccoli slaw, hobo fries (mix of regular and sweet potato), sweet potato fries and mixed zucchini squash veggies. Casey was our waiter. Service was excellent! TY Casey for your recommendations. Only dislike was the veggies were saltier and soggier than we like but that is a personal preference. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and plan to return. Lovely atmosphere as well.

Almost didn’t go after reading the critical reviews but I’m glad I did. Met my bestie there for dinner and drinks and our food was out super quick! It was delicious and plentiful. The staff was nice and the atmosphere was great. Not one negative thing about my experience there.

Indoor and outdoor seating. Parking lot needs to be bigger. Bar available as well as a small playground for kids. Our waitress was very nice. I had the blackened mahi mahi – spectacular. My husband had the baked stuffed shrimp – absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

I arrived after lunch hour to the railroad seafood & brewery and was notified they have been short staffed but this did not stop me from coming in with me and a couple of my friends. We were immediately seated and tended to from Jenny , she was an amazing waitress and greeted us with great selections from the menu and also recommended a great beer choice from the draft menu. The experience of everything was great and the food was amazingly prepared with proper portions and the seasoning on the fish was just right. The plates that we ordered were the Drum plate blackened and the Snapper Ponchartrain both were cooked to perfection and had excellent flavor the sides were also delicious which included , rice , new potatoes, and bbq beans. All sides had a good flavor and tasted great. The atmosphere of the place has a welcoming feel and is very open including inside and outside dining areas.
