So thankful to have this restaurant so close to our house! All the dishes we’ve tried have been excellent. And we love that we can sit outside so our toddler can play in the playground before and after we receive our food.
We love their poke dish and my personal favorite is the beer batter catfish tacos! Their cocktails are also delicious.

First time, trying the railroad seafood and brewery in Calallen. All good things from their staff, food, and atmosphere. Their snapper fish is delicious and the sauce was made to perfection. There’s a small bed of rice underneath that gives it that little bit of texture and taste. Highly recommended!!

OK yall, we used “wow” a lot. Make no mistake, this place is freaking Amazing!! Seafood AND a brewery? Hecks yes! We started with the Bock Crayfish Queso. O. M. G. Y’all. The little spice kick from the roux. Best queso ever Marvelous!
Oh and they have flights! Beer flights, brew tour flights, premium flights and Magarita flights!!! Yes margaritas flights!!!
The Caesar salad was fresh with lots of fresh parmesan and fresh pepper.
The gulf platter is black drum and shrimp all prepared your way. Just wow.
Hubby says “I was loathe to put the (very good) sauces on the fish because it was so well prepared. The stuffed shrimp are the best I’ve had.”
The Danny’s shrimp wrapped with crab then fried is freaking delicious!
Plus the Outside is just as excellent as the inside. They have a Play scape/jungle gym for the kids under the trees. Outside seating on a really nice large patio. Inside is open nice and so new. So inviting and fun place to bring the fam! Great service. Hint ask for “Yogi” for your waiter. He’s the best

My husband and myself went to dinner before a funeral. It was so so.the water had an unusual taste not sure if the dishes where as clean as they could have been. And food was overrated. Should keep things simple. The service was amazing . But I will not go again

I have eaten at some of the best restaurants all over the U.S. as well as on cruise ships and some places overseas, and I love seafood… especially oysters. I have eaten some of the best oysters you could find anywhere. I have never felt compelled to write a review of a restaurant before this, but I have to. The atmosphere there was good, the service was great, but the “fried oysters” were terrible. I guarantee that they were not even real oysters! They were mussels being passed off as oysters. Believe me, I know the difference! Not only were they tiny (likely not even whole… just sliced chunks…), but the flavor was horrible! If you’ve ever eaten mussels, you know what I’m talking about. Those were not oysters! I’ll never eat there again.

Food I thought would taste different than it would as. Like not seasoned well. I had shrimp stuffed crab meat. Others thought theirs were good. Atmosphere was very nice. Clean area, outside was nice. Bathroom clean. Kind of pricey….

I had the chicken fried steak with potatoes and cheesy grits. My chicken fried steak was a little tuff. My daughter had the chicken and waffles and loved it. Our friend had the egg and bacon sandwich meal ( I can’t remember the name of it) and when she ordered it, she asked to have the bacon extra crispy. When she got her meal the bacon in her sandwich was white and barely cooked. The young waiter said he would get her some fresh bacon and when he brought it to her, half of it was cooked and still raw. He apologized and said he would take the meal off of the ticket. I have eaten here a few times and it has always been “ok” but I feel the food is overpriced for what you get. They have a selection of beer and it is good. They have a really nice outdoor eating area in the back.
