here is what you need to know before coming to this location
it’s a little tricky because traffic wise you want to be going on the eastbound lane versus the westbound Lane with no middle lane so carefully find a way to get over If you have to into the trailhead entrance to them be able to just get a parking spot in this wide open community center that’s mostly got empty spots
From there once inside just got to pull at the door really hard The door’s like really stubborn
going to get past that definitely handicap accessible with separate restrooms for men and women right at the entrance they got to pay attention to the funny chicken rooster cow signs for men and women’s restrooms laugh out loud
From there ordered slow cooked smoked sliced brisket that was worth every penny and definitely at a more affordable price for this high quality of beef and their barbecue sauce I cannot say enough good things about they only have one kind of barbecue sauce they each table along with napkins and an area for your soda drinks and utensils that found extremely convenient and convenient for the tray as well
The time I took the order from a hospitable gentleman at the front to being served almost immediately with pickles and onions that were also fresh and high quality I could definitely say this is a high-end barbecue joint that I would definitely keep in mind that’s underrated
The barbecue was exactly how I like it coming from West Texas almost melting your mouth Franklin’s kind of good with the barbecue sauce and I’m being too strong on the front or back end but just the right amount of sweetness and spice without a whole lot of what tasted like did not taste any corn syrup or modified fructose corn syrup highly recommend this location in the future

Just did a pick up order but the the food was quite good! The turkey, fries, coleslaw, okra, and baked potato were top notch. The brisket was a bit under seasoned for me so 4 stars on that, but overall, very solid.

Turkey has superb flavor ,was moist and thoroughly smoked. Brisket was lean, somewhat dry and almost tasteless. Used excellent BBQ sauce and ate every slice. Vegetables were well prepared & tasty.

Where has this place been my whole life? So delicious! Right here in dripping springs across from the high school. We had the chicken fried steak, amazing and the best brisket sandwich ever! Super friendly staff!

My girlfriend had a doctor’s consultation in Dripping Springs, and we needed to stop somewhere to eat afterwards before driving back home. The staff was friendly, the prices were reasonable in relation to the amount of food served, I had the three meat plate with two sides, my girlfriend had the salad and the loaded potato, which she enjoyed. The brisket and and sausage were good, but the barbecue chicken was the best of the three, the best barbecue chicken I’ve ever had, the barbecue sauce on the table was also the best I’ve had in a restaurant – not too sweet nor too spicy or tangy – and the sides of potato salad and cole slaw also struck that same balance. We live in northwest Austin so it is unlikely we will come this way again but if we do, this is definitely a candidate for a return visit.

Was honestly impressed but the food. Had avoided coming here as it didn’t look appealing but finally gave it a try and boy was I wrong. Their brisket was absolutely flavorful and moist. Chicken was chicken and huge portion of it! Beans were decent and the mac & cheese was on point. Sadly they were out of ribs. I’ll try them next time! Came back a week later and the ribs were great, nice and meaty!

A few weeks ago we visited RR BBQ while the BBQ wasn’t the best we’ve had we were hungry and decided to try it out. The reason I’m giving 1 star is because of the Manager and Owner. We left our stroller in the parking lot, accidentally, so obviously our fault. A nice customer brought our stroller in to them to hold. I know this because the great employee who should be the Manager told me it had been sitting in the managers office for days. Then he called me back and said it was gone. I went there and asked to speak with the Manager who wasn’t mean but also wasn’t nice and he told me that it’s the property management who I need to talk to but I told him his employee said the stroller was in his office. He had lied to my face. It was many calls later and many emails to the owner who never emailed me back, that the manger said he threw it in the trash. Who throws a stroller in the trash!? Do they honestly think I believe that? The Manager and the Owner aren’t decent people. I wouldn’t eat there again if my life depended on it.

So, we stopped by for a bit when passing through. Please don’t let the 3 stars turn you away, and read to the end. The brisket and sausage were moist. We had the fresh cut fries and onion rings for sides that were great. One kiddo had the corndog and one kiddo the chicken strips. There was also a kids chopped beef sandwich. The sweet tea was spot on, and the unsweetened was pretty good, maybe a bit over brewed. The staff seemd nice. The bathrooms were clean, but only one person at a time. The place a spacious, and they had outdoor seating if you were worried about being too close to people.
So why only 3 stars? The meat was good, but it was borderline 4 stars. Wait, you said the sides were great, so again, why 3 stars. Well, the sandwiches were served on straight up bread. What? Yes, I’m being picky, and I probably would’ve done 4 stars, but I had to say it. A BBQ sandwich deserves a bun or Texas toast. If I wanted bread, I would ordered the plate. I meant to ask, because they may have been out of buns. Beat me up if you think I’m too rough on my post, but don’t hesitate to eat here for some good BBQ.
I want to make one more point about the hygiene comment someone else made. If you have an issue with someone meeting your expectations to meet with CDC guidelines at a restaurant, you need to stop eating out. As a person who was in the food industry for almost a decade, you can only really control your staff and your food. If you are concerned, don’t slam the owner here. Talk to the owner, but with an open mind on what he or she truly has control over. Also understand that every restaurant has a bad day. If it is routinely bad that shop will disappear based on the clientele choosing other options.

We stopped here on a really nice sunny day and were able to eat outside on their patio and watch the cars go by. It was extremely comfortable and relaxing and were able to let our little dog sit with us. The stuffed baked potato and large brisket sandwich were just amazing and the cold Coke to wash it down made it even better. Their barbacue sauce was homemade and very very good. I highly RECOMMEND this place and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. So happy trails and dont forget to stop in and eat.

Plenty of seating, tables both inside and out front. The brisket we had was decent, though we were passing through and in the mood for pulled pork. I was surprised to find that this barbecue restaurant doesn’t serve it.
