Seated immediately in a booth. Prompt and attentive service – the only lag was it took a very long time for our drinks.

Overall, my only gripe would be to wipe down the booths themselves, it was clear a child had smeared things on the seat back, but the booth was so big it didn’t hinder me.

Got a bloody mary, bobfire burger with a veggie burger, tater tots and onion rings. The bloody mary is great – the regular one comes with 2 olives and has a great graininess to it.

Onion rings were okay – I recommend adding pepper to the batter. They were a little bland.

The tater tots are fantastic – almost like mashed potato on the inside and crispy hashed on the outsids. Very tastey.

The bonfire burger was actually spicy – I ak so used to people marketing burgers as spicy and being disappointed, but I loved the relish and habanero dip.

Fellow diner liked their plate, but adding salmon is overly expensive. With that said, it was cooked perfectly.

I recommend!

Nice location. They’ve been open about 7 months. Easy, free parking. Went on a Wednesday evening. Seated right away. Server was new(said it was his second day), but did an outstanding job. We ordered the chicken nachos. Super tasty, but very little cheese. If you’re looking for stringy, cheesy goodness, these aren’t for you! We don’t like the fake stuff, so we were fine with them. Not even sure what kind of cheese they use because there was so little. The burgers were outstanding and cooked perfectly to order. String fries are addicting. I had the power bowl with chicken. Very good flavors. Overall, a great experience and we’ll be back to try some other things!

We went for Sunday brunch and had a large party of 25. They set us up in a great location and pushed a bunch of tables together for us but they gave us one server. Our server appeared to be also waiting on other tables in the restaurant (maybe they were short staffed) but we did not get the attention we needed for 25 people. No drinks got refilled we asked for a water pitcher three times before one was brought to our table and only 1 was brought for 25 people. The food was okay but the brunch hash was sitting in a layer of oil or grease and the chicken and waffles word difficult texture for me because there was a crunchy crystallized sugar in the batter. Burgers were ok & my daughter seemed to like her pasta but overall it was a disappointment & we won’t be back

I have been wanting a good burger for a while now and was not disappointed. We had 4 total people in our group and we were all very satisfied with our meals. We also ordered pretzel bites and brussel sprouts. The pretzel bites were okay but the brussel sprouts were crispy and delicious. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. We would definitely eat here again when in the area. Eat and shop local my friends!

To put it simply, my wife said you could get better service from a Chili’s for a fraction of the price. This restaurant has the same lack of charm that every chain restaurant has without the prestige of being a chain like Olive Garden. We tried to watch an OSU game there last fall. They don’t have a speaker system but instead they turn the TVs up to 87-100 volume. I don’t know if you know anything about sound engineering, but this is a terrible idea. Each TV was playing the game blasting the sound at full volume. The best part: they sat us directly underneath the TV so we could not watch the game without craning our necks. In my opinion, placing the TVs directly over someone’s head, but not in an area where they can be watched might be a bit of an oversight. The food was very mid and the service was subpar. Hopefully a better restaurant (Chili’s) can eventually rent the space as it is prime real estate. However, judging the other half of that facility has been empty for two years. I’m really doubtful. I apologize for taking an entire year to submit my review but I saw that this restaurant had 4.4 stars and was flabbergasted. I hope those of you who take time to read this consider this experience. Also, the Sheetz across the street has a better ambience.

Ala and Barry were great! Ala ensured my cocktail was made the way I asked down to the detail
hence her visit to my booth. Barry ensured my food was plated correctly and was prompt with the drinks. Him and Ala are a great server / bartender duo as I am a bartender and server myself. Great service all around , pretty smiles, great energy, and moved with a quickness. Being in the industry myself, keep these two around for sure !

We came here between Christmas and New Years after an OSU hockey game. Group of 7 only waited about 5 min for a table. Service was great, the food was okay, no real standouts for us but we would go back.

The Buffalo chicken did had a real kick to it if you do or don’t like spicy. The tater tots were huge and looked like hush puppies.

After a late-night craving led me to The Rail, I was pleasantly surprised to find it open and welcoming even as other places were closing their doors for the night. The Rail, renowned for its dedication to crafting quality local burgers, certainly lived up to its reputation. Under the inviting glow of its neon sign, the atmosphere inside was vibrant and energetic, matching the lively spirit of its diners.

The highlight of the evening was the November Burger Special, aptly named “The Gridiron”. Priced at $10 and served a la carte, this burger was a delightful symphony of flavors, featuring a 6oz burger topped with bacon, smoked cheddar parmesan cheese crisp, spinach, red onion, and a decadent truffle aioli. The optional sides—ranging from fries and sweet potato fries to housemade tater tots or a fresh little salad—added just the right touch to complement the meal.

The Rail’s menu, extensive and thoughtfully curated, includes everything from hearty burgers and artisan salads to flatbreads and gourmet entrees, ensuring that there’s something to satisfy any palate. As I enjoyed my meal, the quality of the ingredients and the care put into each dish were evident, making it clear why this spot is a beloved choice among locals.

For those looking for a late-night dining option that doesn’t compromise on quality or atmosphere, The Rail is a must-visit. Don’t forget to follow my culinary journeys on Google Maps and for more delicious snapshots, follow me on Instagram @Riguinlo!

The interior has a minimalist feel to it. The bar was short-staffed and required a longer- than- expected wait time to be served. Our waiter was attentive and verified our special meal requests as he wrote them down. The meals were served promptly. The grilled chicken (locally sourced) club was tender with delicious Swiss, bacon, lettuce, and tomato toppings. The “go naked” burger, also locally sourced, was flavorful with the onions and mushrooms on top. The skinny fries were like the potato sticks in a can we used to eat for snacks. The menu was extensive and offered several made-from-scratch dishes.
