Very disappointing experience. I was given one price over the phone, but when I arrived to pick up my order, they charged me a completely different price without saying a word or explaining the change. The customer service was poor—staff were rude, unwelcoming, and dismissive. What made it worse was being ignored while people of their own race were greeted and helped immediately. It felt uncomfortable and unfair. I do not recommend this restaurant. Transparency, respect, and basic customer service are lacking.

Definitely witnessed racism if you don’t speak the language. Waiting in line I am next she asked what I wanted so I tell her oxtails. 2 Dominican men walk in and she just ignored my request and went straight to them to take their order. I proceed to say to her ( the chubby one) so you just say forget about me and she proceeds to ask me AGAIN what I wanted I said oxtails only she said $20. I said I didn’t ask you how much they were. She then proceeds to give all of the smallest oxtails in the pan as I am watching her move the bigger oxtails to the side. She made the pan for me and I walked out. I don’t know who these people are that come from another country to America and think they can play in my face but ummm not today. Be mindful how you treat customers you never know who they can be. With that being said I will be reaching out to the better business bureau to file a complaint. I would never recommend this restaurant after this experience.

There were so many options to choose from I didn’t know where to begin . I got their goat and it was so tender ! The gamey taste was very faint . The vegetables weren’t too soft . I can’t wait to go back and try something else!

I’ve been eating here for a year now, and it’s always a great experience. The food is flavorful and well-prepared, just like we love it. The service is always friendly and respectful, which makes a big difference. As a Dominican, I really appreciate how this place keeps our flavors alive. Definitely a spot I always recommend to friends and family. And you have to try their lemonade—it’s so good!

They are racist. They charge you more if you’re not Spanish. Also they try to pretend to not speak English and add extra stuff to your order ie. I ordered ceviche and veggies. I asked for beans and an extra fish which I told her I would pay for. She started to make a whole additional tray which she would’ve charged me more for. I immediately canceled all add ons. I asked how much upon check out, she had to think ABOUT it…. Audibly! UMMMMMMMMMMM $13.. and settled on only charging me a dollar more this time. To satisfy my suspicion I asked for a menu and nothing on the whole entire menu was $13. You will NOT find ANYTHING 12.99 besides beef soup and salmon which I’ve had neither. NO GOOD IF YOU AREN’T LATINO

Wow…. just wow! I like how they have combos and the portions are more than enough. The food is so flavorful and I smelled the food down the street and around the corner lol… but seriously I really did. Looks like I have a reason to go to Paterson now

This place might be good if you dine in but my delivery experience was awful. I used UberEats and the food arrived spilled all over the bag. The habichuelas were so watery, I couldn’t believe they were from a Dominican restaurant. The liver was so hard, I couldn’t cut it with the plastic ford they provided. It felt like it was reheated many times. The baked chicken was so over cooked or maybe over reheated? We couldn’t eat the wings or drumsticks because they were so blackened burnt. Anyways, like I said, maybe the experience is different if you dine in, but the delivery was really awful. Never again.

Picked up a Cuban sandwich and a sancocho and it was a total disappointment! Sancocho was super greasy and had no taste. Two pieces of chicken and few carrots. The Cuban sandwich was a total disgrace. Few pieces of salty “Pernil” inside a piece of bread. Definitely not going back!
