Had such a great time at Raha. The food was so good and tasted properly authentic. We ordered a good mix and everything was really enjoyable, but my favourites were the slow-roasted lamb, and the great selection of veg options. The tandoor starters and fresh naan went perfect with it all. The flavours were spot on.

A must-try when you’re in Dundalk. Highly, highly recommend.

Amazingly gorgeous food, lovely people and beautiful atmosphere. We had several starters, the samosas and the murgh malai tikka which was the best I’ve had anywhere. The samosas were presented beautifully and very tasty. The murgh malai was tender, very flavorful, and delicious. I would order a couple of those for a main entree next time I’m in!

Two of our party ordered the raan e sikandari, a lamb dish very well seasoned and aromatic, with very tender roasted lamb. I had the jhinga moilee, a dish with king prawns that were so tender and flavorful, in a coconut curry sauce that was also very delicious. I would definitely order that one again as well!

Highly recommend!

Adding to this review when the desserts showed up. We had the lemon cheesecake and gulab jamun, both delicious and a perfect ending to the meal.

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a fantastic experience at Raha! The food was absolutely delicious—authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. I highly recommend trying the lamb shank; it was cooked to perfection.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for a family dinner. Definitely one of my new favorite spots in town. Will be back soon!”

My husband and I visited this lovely restaurant on Saturday and were so impressed! The food was absolutely delicious — full of rich, authentic flavors, and everything was cooked to perfection. We even received a pre-starter, which was such a nice touch.

The restaurant itself is small, but beautifully decorated with a cozy and welcoming vibe.

We genuinely had such an enjoyable evening and will definitely be back. Our city needs more gems like this — serving amazing food. Highly recommend to anyone who loves Indian cuisine or is looking for a new favourite spot!

Well – as you can see, its an all Irish/Indian 5 star experience. The concierge staff are very enthusiastic about communicating to you the detail of the palate sensations – you get the impression they take great pride in their culture and specialist dishes.
So much so that they compelled us to try something different – a type of Indian/Irish crossfusion – the chef’s special Lamb Shank. I doubt I’ll ever eat lamb in the same way again – unless its RAHA style.
But the music – it is at least eclectic. I’m usually always impressed by the audio asthetic as feature of Indian resturants – but this was on a whole nother level.
Not a smattering of compromise to euro tastes. Pure Indian/Irish-mayo college.
We had both chefs specials – The chefs Lamb being the more ‘punchy’ and the chefs special chicken (to my shame I can’t recall the indian name) well.. the spices far from being immediatly kitch, took time to both announce and withdraw all the flavours to which one was exposed.
The waitresh also display accomplished palate knowledge with regard to wine choice and are entertainingly convincing, though never offended. I did defer when advised – and glad that I did.
The decor and seating cutlery etc. are of the highest standard one would expect from such a joyfully proud Indian restaurant, yet it is never invasive. You get the idea that they are proud Irish Indians.
Try RAHA Dundalk style.
You’ll be glad you did.

A great little place, exceptional service. The starters came and there were no disappointed faces. We were a party of 9 so despite a couple of minor mix ups, our hostess managed it beautifully and the food was great. Tasty, thick sauces, tender meat, spicy, beautiful presentation. Well worth the trip.

We had a fantastic Mother’s Day lunch at RAHA last Sunday. The food was impecable, super authentic – real Indian food. The service was splendid, and the staff was very helpful and nice. The place definitely adds a lot to the new dining scene in Dundalk, and it holds well-deserved prizes in not so long time opened. We wish a long life to this 5-star restaurant while we look forward to our next visit.

I still remember the flavour of the Special Biryiani.

Spectacular tastes, I love coming here for something new every time! I think tonight was the best meal yet. Well done, a perfect addition to the fine dining in Dundalk (and still reasonably priced) and served with such passion and heart.
I have to post an empty plate as it was all enjoyed before I thought to take a pic! Well done all.

This was my second time ordering the chicken biryani. While it’s perfectly edible, I found it to be fairly average compared to others I’ve tried. The flavor didn’t quite stand out. Additionally, a more welcoming reception upon arrival would greatly improve the customer experience.
