This seafood place is amazing, you have to try it! We’ve lived here for six years and are always on the hunt for a good seafood spot, and let me tell you, this place did not disappoint. From the staff to the food, everything was wonderful.
Our waitress was so sweet and recommended the coconut- and pecan-crusted tilapia. Before you judge, you have to try it—it was so delicious that I had to steal some from my husband!
We also had the chance to meet the owner, and she was the sweetest lady. She took the time to greet us and asked multiple times if there was anything we needed. She even shared a bit of the backstory on how Ragin’ Reef came to Winchester.
We will definitely be returning!

Tried this place for dinner! Everything was great. Restaurant was very clean, workers were so friendly and the food was really good, especially the hush puppies! We felt we were at a beach seafood restaurant.

Ragin Reef was outrageously good! The coconut pecan encrusted flounder was delicious, and the portion size was HUGE! After eating just a quarter of my meal I was already full (see photo). The homemade key lime pie was also outstanding and a generous portion. The prices were reasonable and the service was friendly, prompt, and courteous. All in all, an excellent dining experience; highly recommended!

Started with crispy calamari and hush puppies. Both are yummy! Then I had the pan seared salmon and the Mrs. had grilled scallops. Everything was seasoned just right and cooked perfectly. Service was very good! We will be back!

First experience at Ragin Reef and we will definitely return. The food was delicious and fresh. We enjoyed calamari and hush puppies, along with Coconut Flounder and Crab Cakes. For dessert homemade Key Lime Pie. Everything was great and large portions. The service was wonderful! She took the time to explain multiple menu items since it was our first time there. Our food came out timely and hot! Great piece for two appetizers, two entrees, dessert, and beers. My only tip would be to turn the lights down a little, it seemed very bright. Might make the atmosphere a little more cozy.

Been wanting to try this place since opening up. Expectations going in thinking lobster, crabs, crab legs. Well, non of that lol. A very bland menu. Ordered lobster dip with chips and the dip looked great upon arrival but was watery/runny with no flavor no chunks of lobster. Ordered the fish and chips. Got 2 fish and what looked like shoestring fries. The fish had no taste, just a basic batter dropped in oil. Fries no seasoning. Kids got chicken and fries of kids menu and my sister got some encrusted fish which was bland also. The food needs flavor. Can’t really mask it with the side dips though the Cajun ranch was actually good as a dip for the fries. The service seemed great seating is small about 12 tables in there. I doubt we will be back again. Wasn’t worth it. But hey we gave it a shot!!

Finally, a decent seafood restaurant in Winchester! The food was fantastic, got the fish and chips and the pan seared salmon. Staff was welcome and extremely friendly. Will definitely be coming back

We ordered to go and everything was ready when we arrived. The food was packaged nicely and the waitress was doing a wonderful job multitasking with how busy the restaurant was. Each item we ordered from the lobster dip appetizer to the jumbo stuffed shrimp and the bread pudding, everything was phenomenal! We will definitely return and recommend everyone to try Ragin Reef!
