Reviews
It had been a while and when we checked today, the reviews were pretty good. Maybe I should stop trusting those…
Our server was not friendly, nor helpful.
The appetizers were delicious, and the person who brought them out was delightful. This had us hopeful for our entrees would be amazing, but I’m writing this with a horrible stomach ache and severe nausea hoping my husband stops puking long enough for me to tag into the restroom.
The lamb I had was gross. Just plain gross. The flame went out for our bowls before we were able to cook all of the meat, so we were left with cold bowls of soup with raw meat in them. It took several attempts at trying to flag someone down and being ignored before my husband finally had to get up to get someone to re-light them, though by this time we were pretty over the experience.
The wagyu we were served was RANCID. It was inedible and had clearly gone very VERY bad, and I’m guessing is one of the main reasons we both started feeling sick before we even got a foot out the door.
The Ramen noodles I got were rubbery and tasted like uncooked flour. Hands down the worst noodles I’ve ever had.
I don’t know if they pay to remove bad reviews, or this was a bad day, or perhaps it’s always this bad and their customers are delusional with iron stomachs. Either way, you could not pay us to eat here again.
Glad I finished typing as it’s my turn for the bathroom….
I ordered the pork belly bao and a beer for a quick snack. It was tasty and fresh. The pork belly was cooked to perfection! The flavor was just right!
The restaurant was fairly full. The staff was attentive.
I would comeback and try the hotpot!
Parking was easy at 1pm.
Have been twice.
Enjoyed the beef pho the first time but ordered it medium and it was too spicy for this white girl! Also got the spring rolls and they were delicious.
The second time i got the vegetarian hot pot only a little spicy and it was amazing. The pork bao was delicious also.
If so, this is a great place to settle any cravings. If not, still a great place to try it for the first time.
I gave it a 4 star because I’m very used to control the temperature and add more ingredients as I eat. I’m aware I’m comparing it to other experiences and restaurants I have had. So, I’ll keep it simple, the ingredients, broth and the menu overall was amazing. The menu has variety but I only went to try their hot pot which didn’t disappoint until the shrimp. I’m very picky with shrimp and I would not order it again, it had a non shrimp particular taste and disolved oddly. No idea what was that caused it but don’t want to find out.
I will be going back to try different hot pots specially their broths.
I ordered the Veggie broth and their Ragin special hot pot. You can see it in the menu I have attached in the pics.
The fire is limited as it’ll blow out by itself after 10-15 min and the food and broth will start to cool down. I had an extra plate to pull my food out while the rest kept cooking and it was helpful. But I still wanted to control the heat.
I hope this was helpful and that your experiences surpasses mine.
The service is excellent — fast, friendly, and attentive. The staff go out of their way to make sure customers feel welcome and taken care of. It’s clear they value good hospitality, which makes the whole experience even better.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a clean and comfortable setting that makes it enjoyable to sit down and relax. It feels casual but still very welcoming, whether you’re dining alone or with friends.
The seafood hotpot was incredible. good amount of ingredients. And you can order more of specific things to add in separately as you eat. The beef broth ramen was reallt delicious my husband enjoyed it. It was a perfect final meal for my trip to California. Please give this place a try!
