My husband and I met His daughter here at Ragin Cajun. They were playing music and had 3 individual spots that you can sit in. The places is pretty big and the only reason I gave it 4 stars was because everything was Super Spicy and no one let us know. I ordered catfish it was spicy my stepdaughter had the boiled crawfish, and my husband had the shrimp and everything was spicy . It was good but it was just a little too spicy for him and I but his daughter loved it. But if you’re there go check it out great drinks great atmosphere great service

I like the fries! The crawfish is not bad. The jambalaya is decent. This place is good for Louisiana-style seafood.

This place has been a Houston staple for the past 47 years. No changes, Cajun music and atmosphere, and clean tables for dining.

I think people who love crab enjoy this place however I was not so excited and enthusiastic about the place. Although I did not enjoy my meal but there were so many people while I was there and they seemed liked their food.

My son’s favorite oyster and gumbo spot! We come here from Sugar Land at least once a month per our son’s request. They never disappoint. The crawfish is also fabulous! Their staff are also super nice, hard working and fast. My favorite Cajun restaurant in Houston!

Great place for Cajun style seafood. Boiled, bbq, and fried dishes. Delicious in-season crawfish and Texas blue crab! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and a good little selection of beers in bottle (and perhaps can). Friendly and helpful staff. Ample parking in lot.

A friend recommended this place to me. I ordered the shrimp & grits. I rate it an 8 on a scale of 1-10. The shrimp was crunchy & did not have a rubbery texture. I wanted more grits too. However, it was delicious. The only reason I rate it an 8 was the sodium content. I felt it was too much for me. Others may like salt. It’s a nice place to order crawfish and .

One of my favorite places to eat in Houston. Atmosphere is great. The walls are covered with sports memorabilia and bric a brac celebrating the South — especially Louisiana, of course. The counter service is friendly and the food is prepared quickly. My wife and I go for the crawfish and oysters, which are always fresh and delicious. The sides are good. We usually get an order of fries. Parking is plentiful. It’s a great place to take the family.
