Service was very slow. The young server was clearly overwhelmed while the older gentleman offered little help. Another table even left after waiting 40 minutes without having their order taken. The lasagna was mostly ricotta with little meat or pasta, though the chicken parm and bread had good flavor. Unfortunately, I found a thick black hair in my salad halfway through eating. The staff’s response was minimal and nothing was offered to resolve it.

Very quiet on a Tuesday night but they seem to do a decent amount of take out. I came here for dinner with my Mom and sister. Next door is a convenience store where I grabbed a cold bottle of Sauvignon Blanc to share since it is BYOB. Although I enjoy a good martini this kept everything cost effective. We had the chicken vesuvio, stuffed gnocchi and chicken francesse. For an appetizer we had the sautéed calamari in lemon butter sauce. Portions are huge and very shareable. I would definitely return to try other items! Very friendly service from the owner and waitress Sofia!

We stopped there for dinner after getting off a plane at O’Hare. There seems to be enough places to park at the restaurant but I can see how parking can become an issue. The restaurant itself is clean and friendly. The owner is there to welcome everyone and make sure that everything runs right. The food seemed a bit of hit and miss. Our entrees were very good but the appetizers seemed bland and made from basic supermarket ingredients. Even creme brule seemed just ok. Overall, it is a nice place to visit but I’m not sure I would become a regular there.

Fantastic little find. Although the sign is hard to read at night..the interior looks quite modern. It seems to be a favorite of the locals as I heard many tables chatting with each other their hellos and sweet conversations with the servers.
We had the stuffed artichoke, tomato basil soup, Linguine con Vongle in white sauce and the Lasagna… Absolutely delicious .
Although they do not have a liquor license, they are happy to put it in wine glasses for you.

Ambiance: Nice decor, fairly quiet.
Service: Outstanding. Everyone was really nice. Reservation was easy. The servers were very attentive.
Food: Their calamari tased very fresh not chewy . It was excellent. Chicken Parm was delicious, everything from the breading to the sauce was very flavor full.
Definitely a nice Italian restaurant worth checking out.

This place and the food make you feel like you’re tucked away in some small Italian village! We visited twice in one week since we’re not from the area. You can tell locals dine here and it was nice we just kind of fit right in.

Great Italian food that is BYOB! The bread is legit. I had the steak vesuvio which was delicious. The lasagna was good. Apps, wedge salad and carrot cake were tasty. It’s a 4.2 for me, give it a try.

I’ve gone twice now and both times I had to have the stuffed gnocchi. It melts in your mouth and the sauce is so flavorful. My partner has tried two different dishes: spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken francese. Both absolutely delicious. The meatballs were so juicy and flavorful. It’s very convenient being byob as well! The food, service and atmosphere are all impeccable. I can’t wait to go back.

Our experience at Raffi’s Locale was amazing! We’ve got a chance to be served by the owner and he’s just the sweetest person who made our evening brighter, I can tell that he is passionate about his restaurant and he does a great job!
The food was just delicious! We ordered “Calamari Fritti” for the starter and they were so tender and juicy. We’ve also got “Fettuccine Gamberi” and “Linguine con Vongole” and both dishes tasted beyond delicious. Honestly, it was the best pasta I’ve ever had. I couldn’t be happier with the dinner and I will definitely recommend this lovely place to everyone I know.
