Let me preface this review by saying we were celebrating FOUR birthdays with a party of ELEVEN when we visited Radici, for the first time, this month. Yes, we made reservations.
We were welcomed with an open door and the host acknowledging me by name when we walked in. We were seated at a twelve-top in the center of the small dining room. Most of our service was handled by one server, Cheryl, who was absolutely fantastic.
This was our one complaint to the night. The dining space is small, and while they weren’t full when we went, it was loud. It was hard to hear/visit with our family and friends who had driven from as far as Richardson and Waco to join us. We could’ve been seated a little farther away from the smaller tables so we could enjoy each other as much as we enjoyed the food.
Now, the good stuff. The four of us with birthdays were “gifted” a complimentary birthday toast. I don’t recall the name, but the wine was light and crisp, and a perfect palate opener for what was to come.
With eleven of us, we were able to order several items off the menu (and get at least one bite of something off each other’s plates for a taste, lol). Amongst our favorite craft cocktails were the Dirty Secret (a blue cheese-infused martini) and the GO3, which tasted like a lemon pie in a glass (and, honestly, was amazing with their mussel dish).
Antipasta—where to start?! Several options were ordered and they all SLAPPED… hard. Especially the butternut squash bruschetta (one of their seasonal dishes) and the mussels. We also got the beet salad, the focaccia, the grilled veggies, and the meatballs.
And, for the pièce de résistance… the entrees. Several bites were shared, as mentioned, and there were NO losers. Lobster and crab ravioli, the white lasagna, the oxtail ragu, flank steak with salsa verde, the pork chop, the halibut and shrimp, and the bolognese. Handmade pasta and Texas post oak smoke touches and char on everything. DELICIOUS.
Of course, as full as we all were, we were there for our birthdays, so had to try some desserts. The tiramisu, the German chocolate cake, and the olive oil cake came to our table… and everyone agreed, the olive oil cake is NOT to be missed. Minimal ingredients, but packed with layers of flavors that play in your mouth and develop with every chew.
This is one of THE best birthday dinners we’ve celebrated in a while. The service was exceptional. The food… stellar. Can’t recommend enough that you give this place a try for a date night, a family celebration, or even just to treat yourself to a cocktail and a few antipasti. Chef Tiffany Perry has definitely set the bar for upscale, delicious dining in our area. We WILL be back.

I celebrated my 19th wedding anniversary at Radici with some of my closest friends, and it was truly a night to remember. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and genuinely cared for. They took the time to walk us through the menu, thoughtfully recommending dishes and wine pairings for each of us—and every choice felt perfectly curated.

The chefs were engaged and attentive, preparing our food quickly while still putting so much care into every detail. The presentation was stunning, the ambiance was warm and elevated, and everything just felt special.

And the oxtail pasta… absolutely unforgettable. Hands down my favorite dish of the night—rich, comforting, and beautifully executed. It’s the kind of meal that stays with you long after the evening ends.

This was a restaurant my sister chose for her birthday. What a great fine dinning experience. From the greeter at the front Door to the table and every server had a smile. That sweet tea is holy! I think I had 6 glasses in the 2 hours that I was there. It’s was Campbell soup mmmmmmmmm good! I had the Wagyu steak with the vegetable medley which had a little spice. I hate spicy and I never understand why my mouth has to burn while I eat my food. I did make mention and they said they would remake it without it. Wow, now that’s service! But I ate it, I’ll know next time. Yes, I had dessert! My, my, my! That German chocolate cake with caramel poured on top of it until I said stop was magically delicious! My sister had the pistachio cake! Good gosh O mighty! It had some orange something on it which was totally mouth amazing! To top it off, we had the opportunity to talk with the owner who’s a jewel. Very sweet with a smile that lights the room. I wish her much success. Go by and give this place a try. 10 stars!

This is our 2nd time to visit Radici in Grand Prairie. Each time we have been blown away by the food, service and attention to detail by the staff. You get the feeling that every single person that works here, from the bartender to the chef and especially, our waiter for both trips James, have a personal stake in the restaurant and a sense of pride in their positions. Something that is incredibly rare in this day and age. I want to try to describe how amazing the food is here but there is no way I can do it justice, you just need to do yourself a favor and come here yourself.

The true star of the meal was undoubtedly the focaccia bread with the garlic on top—it absolutely stole the show! It was a perfect start, setting a high bar for the rest of the meal.
The main dishes held their own as well. The branzino was good, and the accompanying veggies were immaculate, cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Italian sodas weren’t bad either, offering a refreshing complement to the food.
As for the Chicken Parm, well, it’s a reliable classic. It hit the mark without offering any major surprises.
Overall, it was a meal featuring some serious high notes, led by that phenomenal garlic focaccia!

We came to Radici for dinner and let me tell you it was absolutely worth the 5 stars. First we were greeted and our wonderful server Winters was so attentive and so nice she was wonderful. We had the mussels and the fig with bruschetta it was marvelous our face said it all with those appetizers. We followed it up with the oxtail ragu pasta and a side of the cabbage and that was delicious. All in all everything and everyone was so great.

We had such an amazing time at Radici! The highlight of the night was getting the chance to personally thank Chef Derry for creating such a wonderful dining experience right here in the heart of Grand Prairie. The house-made pasta was unbelievably fresh and cooked perfectly. The focaccia (not pictured) didn’t stand a chance—it was gone in seconds! And that branzino, cooked over an open flame! Absolutely fresh, flavorful, and perfectly flaky. We can’t wait to come back and take another delicious trip through Italy without ever leaving Grand Prairie!

Absolutely fantastic dinner! It was a walk-in for us and we were not ready for this. Anyways, each dish had a unique taste and quality, super happy, would totally recommend if you’re a foodie. We had the caprese salad as the appetizer, which were basically tomatoes, basil and their homemade mozzarella and dressing. Mains were ravioli, halibut and a side of carrots that were insane! Finished off with their German chocolate cake. Service was top notch and we got a chance to speak with a staff member about their food and the famous chef who opened this restaurant.
