First, you’re handed a full, glorious, comprehensive à la carte menu with enough choice to feed a small nation. You start planning. Debating. Strategising.
Then comes the plot twist.
“We only have chicken tikka masala tonight.”
I’m sorry… what?
Not feeling a masala, we bravely declared ourselves vegetarians (we are not, but desperate times…). To their credit, they immediately offered us aloo gobi instead. And honestly? It was good. Properly tasty. Comforting. No complaints on flavour at all.
So effectively, it’s a restaurant with a menu the size of a novel… but a short story in practice.
And just when you think the night is winding down — boom. After 9pm the place transforms into a full-blown disco. Thumping music, flashing vibes, and suddenly you’re digesting cauliflower to a club soundtrack. Dinner and a nightclub in one. Efficient.
Was it cheap? Yes.
Was the food good? Yes.
Was there variety? Absolutely not.
Was it memorable? Completely.
If you go, go with a sense of humour — and maybe flexibility. Radha’s doesn’t just serve dinner… it serves plot twists
Mouth watering food. Chefs are ready to serve out of menu dishes to suite your need and taste.
Chicken malai tikka is over all the dishes.
Loved the place.
Manager is proactive and ready to solve all your needs. Highly recommended.
This Restaurant is best of all I have seen in the Addis Ababa.
The food was delicious. feeling very good and excited to come next time.
Radha Restaurant stands out as one of Addis Ababa’s finest destinations for authentic Indian cuisine. My recent dining experience showcased their consistency, flavorful dishes, and warm hospitality.
We began with Veg Cream Soup and Chicken Hot & Sour Soup—both comforting and well-balanced in flavor. The appetizers were excellent: Chilly Paneer was perfectly tossed, Hara Bhara Kabab crisp and green with fresh herbs, and the Seekh Kabab, Mutton Galouti Kabab, and Tandoori Chicken delivered that unmistakable smoky tandoor aroma. The Dragon Paneer added a delightful Indo-Chinese kick.
Among the mains, the Paneer Do Pyaza, Dal Tadka, and Dal Khichdi were flavorful and comforting. The Authentic Chicken Curry and Mutton Rogan Josh were rich, aromatic, and cooked to melt-in-the-mouth perfection. Their breads are especially noteworthy—crispy, fresh, and a perfect companion to every curry.
If you visit on a Saturday, do not miss their Hyderabadi Dum Biryani. It is fragrant, well-spiced, and truly one of the highlights of their menu.
Overall, Radha Restaurant offers a wonderful combination of authentic flavors, generous portions, and a welcoming ambiance. Highly recommended for anyone craving quality Indian cuisine in Addis Ababa.

One day I visited there and ordered Daal Tadka, Steamed rice and Kadhai mushroom but Kadhai mushroom was not well cooked as mushroom felt like chewy and even I was not able to cut it through spoon for which I complained and they make it again but same thing happen again. I gave them warning that I will return back to your restaurant and then I will share my final review.
Next day I was there with my colleague and ordered Mutton rogan jose, Chicken Biryani, Garlic naan. Food taste was good but mutton was having 4 small pieces but with bones only which I felt bad that even paying such amount we got which we were not expecting.
Finally our bill was for 2,529.71 birr for which I paid 26,00 birr and I didn’t got my change back and after complaining they brought less 10 Birr.
Conclusion: If you want better atmosphere then you can visit but don’t expect satisfactory food from them.
I’m feeling bad while writing this review but I can’t mislead people so better you go for Chilies Addis or Konark Indian restaurant but don’t waste your time and money here.
Visited with group of 6 local friends. Everyone enjoyed the place, food and service.
Manager welcomed us like his family. Friendly service staff made our dining experience much more comfortable.
Hat’s off to team Radhas.
Would highly recommend.
