Rad Dad’s – It’s Not Just Pizza, A simple restaurant that has a variety of options. From Burgers & Philly’s to Beef Tips, Pizza & more. Our dough is made in house, pizza’s are flash baked in just a couple of minutes which is what makes them so good. Deans Cakes are the best deserts around and we have them whole or by the slice. Call ahead to avoid a wait or come sit inside & play a game. We take orders up to 72 hours in advance. We are located just off I-10, 2 miles East of Hwy 285 in Mossy Head. Yes, we are the little building on the right, if you blink you will miss it.

Absolutely incredible experience. The homemade dough makes a massive difference—it’s the perfect texture. They definitely don’t skimp on the toppings either; the portions were super generous.
The smell was so heavenly that the drive home was actually difficult; I almost started eating it in the car! To top it all off, the New York Cheesecake was perfect. Highly recommend!

Ok, I’m a foodie. I try hole in the wall places to test them out with my family. When I tell you it’s the best pizza in the area, I’m not exaggerating. The cheese. It’s the 5 different types of cheese combo on the pizza that stands out. The dough is made in house. It’s packed with flavor. This place deserves more attention. Highly recommend everyone tried it. They deserve the business. 12 bucks for a large cheese. We ordered two personal pizzas, one large supreme and a large pepperoni. The total with drinks and everything for a family of 6 with left overs was only 55 bucks. Worth every penny. Will be going back.

I was finally able to check out this hidden gem over the weekend. We had salad, onion rings, of course pizza, and a 7 layer cake all of which we finished every bite. Nothing disappointed and everything was fresh and delicious including the pizza toppings and crust. What a wonderful small town surprise and well worth the drive if you aren’t local. We will be going back soon for sure!!!

I’m from Chicago the land of pizza. The pizza here is custom made. Made to order and is special it is completely homemade and it tastes wonderful I have no teeth and the owner was extremely accommodating to make my dog to where I can eat it and it was fully cooked absolutely delicious in every way staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommended.

I’ll start off by saying this wasn’t a BAD experience per se, but the food is school cafeteria quality at best. The pizza, while pretty looking, was definitely lacking texture wise. The crust is chewy as others have commented here and just an odd texture. The sauce was also very bitter. I tried the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and mac&cheese. Meatloaf was decent, nothing crazy good about it, the potatoes were homemade had some lumps in them which I enjoy. I was upcharged for the mac&cheese, so I was assuming it was homemade, but I’m 90% sure it’s just boxed mac, you don’t get that neon yellow in homemade mac . The prices were very fair, for 2 personal pizzas and the meatloaf dinner it was about $30. So if you just want a cheap hot meal with no frills, give this place a shot. But for me I’d like to spend my money on something with a bit more substance.
