Rackets Tap House is a community hub for live music, food trucks, activities for the whole family, and delicious drinks. We offer self-service taps for craft beer and imported wine, and an extensive menu of classic and house cocktails! We also have appetizers and charcuterie boards, incorporating fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Outside food is always welcome! We offer a welcoming space to enjoy a fresh snack, sip a cold drink, lounge, and play, all in a space that celebrates Abilene’s history and it’s future.

Rackets Tap House was a great surprise — a perfect low-key spot to unwind. I ordered a beer on tap, and it was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent too — friendly and attentive without hovering.
The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, not loud or chaotic like some tap houses. Pricing was very inexpensive for what you get, which made it even better. There’s outdoor seating and plenty of easy parking, which is always appreciated.
We’d definitely recommend it to both locals and travelers passing through. A solid spot for a laid-back drink and good conversation.

Thank you for a delightful experience after a long day on the road in our rv. We just loved meeting the owner and hearing her story. This tap house is so well-appointed in its decor that is fitting for the time period of the town but with a current twist. The bubble glass vintage plates are a great choice for presenting your charcuterie creations. The hearty bowls of homemade chicken soup loaded with noodles, chunky potatoes, and carrots were delicious. Keep up the good work. You have an excellent vision.

Rackets was a great place to have our Board meet and socialize. The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make the obscure drink requests we had. They were welcoming to our caterer and helped him when he needed it. Meeting at Rackets set the tone for the rest of our weekend meetings.

Great vibe. Located next to “Little Ike” downtown Abilene, it’s a great place to relax. I enjoyed sitting on the covered deck outside, fresh air. So many brews to choose from, no hassle no waiting. Indoor and outdoor seating, simple service! Run your own tab! Tap the bracelet, you’re ready to pour.

We have been to Rackets Tap House a couple of times so far. We’ve ordered from the food trucks, but also want to try a charcuterie board next time. Great staff and relaxed, casual atmosphere!
