I ask for 1/2 lb pork 1/28/26 , the guy was in the phone the entire time I was there , I was only customer, charged me for a whole lb and this is what I got once I opened today to make a meal , $15 worth of dog food I guess , dry , old meat ! Very dissatisfied! I was the lady that said my boy played for etowah there championship year , seeing there etowah posters ! Hope you don’t feed your family this .

Got minuscule anorexia wings labeled as “jumbo”that were overcooked and tasted like they were cooked right around the time they would spoil. Weren’t even edible. Same with the rib tips…..tasted like they weren’t fresh at all and overcooked. A couple of the tips were just bones. I’ve went to this place 3 or 4 times……wings were ok once….the half rack of ribs were ok but the potato salad is usually always good. However I’m not going to a bbq place merely for potato salad. In this economy of inflation and the continuous increase in the cost of living. I would absolutely not waste my time or money ever coming to rack it up again in life.

I asked if he had any fresh cooked ribs today. He said yes and I got a rack of ribs. Got them home and was very small and under cooked and tough. Tried to cook longer but we’re still unfit to eat. I wasted 25 dollars. I live 25 miles away or I would have taken them back. I stop by when I go through there and has been good but there was NO excuse for selling horrible food.

If I could give zero stars for the food I would. I got lunch here for the first time today. I ordered the pork potatoes for $5, so glad it was only $5 but still a complete waste of money I should be getting back because both of these potatoes are going straight in the trash. They are awful! The potatoes look like they were left over from yesterday (see pics) they taste old & Extremely DRY to. I will not be eating here again! I’m completely disappointed & aggravated at the waste of money!

The sides? Just as show-stopping. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich with that home-cooked soul, and the potatoes was warm, fluffy, and had just the right touch of love . Even the baked beans had a smoky depth that proved nothing on this menu is an afterthought.
The vibe inside Rack-Up-Ribs is just as comforting as the food. Friendly service, clean and cozy space, and a down-home feel that makes you want to stay a while. You’re not just eating—you’re experiencing true Southern comfort.

The atmosphere here was great friendly staff food was also terrific I ordered rib tips I would only say I should of had them add more barbecue sauce to my ribs I like them drenched and they wasn’t even all covered other than that great place I will be back

It was our first time stopping thru and I must say it was an awesome bbq sandwich. The sauce was perfect and not to tangy and even the pickle was just right. The smell of grilling meat is always amazing when we pass by here so it’s a fact we will be coming back. The sandwich special was great and the Soul food Sunday will be amazing to attend !!! Looking forward to our next visit !!
