Stopped by on my way back to the San Juan’s after a particularly rowdy Seattle night (TL;DR — was /very/ hungover) and wasn’t sure what to expect. My friend and I each ordered a Bloody Mary & a smash burger with poutine. There was an assortment of hot sauces for the Bloody Mary & the burgers were modifiable — already a win. Everything came out super quickly. The biggest win was the fact that they were also just REALLY good. I’m revived and this will absolutely be a routine stop when I come and go from the islands.

Long time fans of this little corner establishment – Rachel’s Alibi gets a 5 star from me!! They’ve really cleaned the place up – and I mean it’s clean! Bathrooms are kept up/tidy, tables and floors nice and shiny, smells fresh & yummy upon opening the front door! Greeted with a smile, service is fast and wonderful. Toddler ordered Mac n cheese AND chicken strips, which Rachel had done perfectly. Mac was perfect, chicken tender and flavorful. Smash burger with fries & best honey mustard ever for me – patties were cooked perfectly and juicy & delicious. So happy for Rachel on her new endeavor and I wish this awesome business the best of luck! If you liked Vagabond – you’ll love Rachel’s Alibi!!!

More like TEN stars!!!! They put so much love into their food, everything made fresh. I had the yard bird burger, and garlic fries and literally danced in my seat! And Rachel put glitter in my five year olds Shirley temple. So cute!!! So dang good, will be a required place to visit every time I come to see my sister in Anacortes! If you want some good comfort food you definitely need to check it out!

Missing Vagabond Station, NO more. Rachael’s still has lots of your classic comfort foods and chicken crunchy goodness! Plus, food quality has increased exponentially, along with cleanliness. Very cozy feel, friendly staff, reliable menu and hours. Still a pool table with a back hang out area, not an arcade anymore in the back but again, it’s clean and tidy. It needed that overhaul. Thanks Rachel for welcoming us to your new place of business! Its great and we’ll be back!

Mac and Cheese is so creamy, some of the best I’ve ever had. The smash burgers are juicy and flavorful. The breading on the cheese curds is ridiculously good. Ice tea was fresh and the bathrooms are very clean. Had a great lunch. Love that Rachel has taken over this establishment.
