Stop!!! If you are in the area you should definitely check out Rachel’s. The atmosphere and service was fantastic to start off. Fresh flowers on the tables, even had wonderful blankets if your cold. I had the Rachel’s Cosmo to drink and had 2 because they were so good. All the food we had was really good. All the food was reasonably priced also. I had the Ribeye and you could tell it was local meat and it was great. Cooked to a perfect medium rare also. Too many great things to say but most importantly just check it out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

An Amazing Hidden Gem in Michigan. Omg, I love this restaurant. The food is amazing and the staff is so nice. The bourbon burger is heavenly and the broiled fish cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place.

We were regular customers but no longer following last night’s experience. Your choice of seating is outside where we got soaked last time we tried that, or inside in the bar with very limited seating. Because the drink prices are double that of other area restaurants we go there for the food only which is usually good. We were on the verge of leaving following zero contact from our server for almost an hour. When contact was made we were lectured by Rachel that they busy and we should be happy for that yet the main dining area was closed. When mentioning that to Rachel she told us it would take an hour and half to get your meal if that was open.

I got the shrimp cilantro lime rice bowl. It was amazing. I would definitely recommend it. Also the Creme Brulee Cheesecake was simply perfect and definitely need to get where you have room for desert after or just a take home snack for later.

We have always enjoyed Rachel’s dining experience in the past but tonight was disappointing. We waited 45 minutes for our dinner. We finally ask the waitress how long it would be to be served as we were ready to leave. She said 5 more minutes. She then brought our food and Rachel was with her. Instead of explaining the situation and apologizing for the wait she berated us in front of other guests. Very disappointing coming from the owner. We have taken many people there and promoted this restaurant. That will no longer happen due to the owners attitude. Most unprofessional.

Rachel’s is the best restaurant in the thumb area! You’ll find something for everyone and it is always quality! I eat here about once every week or two and have now had a majority of their dishes. They are all portioned perfectly and are full of flavor. It is nice to have different dishes in this area other than the typical bar food you’ll find everywhere else. They also have delicious cocktails. Their staff is always friendly, as well as awesome waitresses. If you find yourself in the Bad Axe area looking for a great meal, don’t hesitate stopping here!

What a great restaurant ! We heard so much about Rachel’s, we had to check it out ourselves. We stopped in for lunch. Very nice menu selections. We had wraps and sandwiches. All were very generous in size, and quality. Prices were very reasonable.

First-time customer. We went on a slow Saturday evening (very close to closing time) and sat at the covered outdoor seating area. Delicious food and great service- our server, Amanda was kind, prompt, and fun to chat with. Great music playing for atmosphere. Definitely will go back again.

Atmosphere of the outdoor seating area was extremely enjoyable and beautiful. The food was great! We had adults and children and there was something for everyone.
