Great food and incredible service. We recently moved to the area from another part of OC and were delighted to discover a place with such delicious and authentic food close to us. The service has also been great eat time we’ve come. Once we even arrived as they were closing up and they offered to keep the kitchen open and serve us.

Since I live and work in the area, I can confidently say Rachael’s Mexican Food restaurant is a true local treasure! The food is consistently excellent, the staff is friendly and service is fast and efficient. Everything we’ve tried has been fantastic, especially the chile verde, fajitas, chicken taquitos and the breakfast burrito.
The new owners have really transformed the restaurant, offering authentic high quality Mexican dishes with a well priced menu and a laid back casual vibe. They go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Extras like the self serve salsa bar, wine selection and indoor/outdoor seating make the experience even better.
As avid Mexican food lovers, my wife and I can convincingly say the quality here is far above your typical chain restaurant. Highly recommended and a great experience!

Just what we’ve been looking for. There is a dearth of good Mexican food in Irvine, so we tried here for lunch today for takeout and glad we did. Nice people, great quality, and ample (thankfully not oversized) portion. And the asada was tender and delicious. We have a new burrito place for takeout!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ordered the cheese and bean burrito bc I wanted some food but not a lot. Turned out to be a lot heavier than I was told. The tortilla chips were nice and crunchy and the salsas ranged from spicy to mild. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for Mexican food!
