Raceway when you reopened you and the quality of your bagels was the best. Although help is hard to find and your shop was filled with waiting customers. Yesterday there were no customers besides myself and I was so disappointed. I paid $9 for 2 bagels, untoasted, with cream cheese and gave the young lady $1 tip. A customer walked in to place an order and the girl stopped spreading my cream cheese to wait on him, cut his bagel and put it in to toast. Then she answered the phone to take another order, walked back in the kitchen, come back out and finish spreading my cheese. I so wanted to take my $1 back and the reason I didn’t was because she did change her gloves after answering the phone. I have attached pics of my bagel and cream cheese. I use more toothpaste than she did cream cheese.

We came here for the cheese steak and left with a great experience and a bunch of bagels. The cheese steak is delicious. Great rolls, great steak. What made the experience, though, was the staff. Jenna was the counter person taking our order. She was polite, pleasant, funny, and very industrious. Even while she was talking to us while we waited for our food, she didn’t stop cleaning and organizing. The front of the store was spotless. When our food was ready, the person preparing it brought it out to us and was very cordial. He later checked back on us to see if we were enjoying our food. We had more interaction with Jenna than the cook, so that’s why I don’t have his name. They have quality food and great service. The bagels are delicious as well. If the owner is reading this, I hope that you are paying these two what they are worth. You are lucky to have them. We were there on Wednesday, May 3rd, around 2 pm, so you can check schedules. Thank you for a quality meal and experience.

Update: This place was great on breakfast, but Cheesesteak? I was skeptical, bagel places making Cheesesteaks? I was also wrong, they are Cheesesteak done right, that would give the well known landmarks runs for their money. Their Cheesesteak are well proportioned ribeye, onions and properly melted cheese on a seeded and complimenting roll. All in all, one of the top Cheesesteaks I had.

Tried a few things on the menu. Everything is good. It’s bold to say ‘best cheese steak east of the Delaware’ but yea it’s pretty good. Be sure to get it with the cooper sharp. Nicely done.

Great cheesesteak! I tried raceway after having another place in hainesport multiple times. The sandwich there at the other place is slightly better but this one was real close. I would go here from now on though. Able to order and pay online. Free tots and I walked in picked up my order and left. Convenient and great. Will def be back. No crazy lines and you don’t have to worry they will close cause they are too busy.
