Run by the Osenburg family since being established in 1944. Racers is that comfortable neighborhood barroom serving a large selection of craft beer, bourbon, scotch and wine. Sorry we do not have a kitchen so it is B.Y.O.F.(Bring Your Own Food). Stop by and enjoy the daily 3 for Special Happy Hour from 10 AM – 7 PM. They advertised that they were a wine bar…. But, they are just a bar. Some wine, but not a wine bar per se. The drinks were inexpensive & our bartender was very nice! Something different. They have a pool table & a Skee Ball machine & a piano if you’re inclined to play. Lots of fun! Thank you!!

Decent selection, food is pretty good – haven’t been there for the live music or outdoor seating so I can’t comment on that, but my last experience there left a bad taste in my mouth. I find it odd that the bartender didn’t know what they were selling without being told the number on the board; I understand they swap out frequently, but still. Also, pretty much all the other bars I’ve been to hold your card if you open a tab, so I opened my tab and then was directed to the other side of the building to order food so we walked over… As we finish up (and two rounds later) it came time to close my tab and I notice my card isn’t given back and the guy says “next time don’t walk away so fast, we don’t hold cards here” this is after he distinctly pointed us to go to another side of the bar to order food. I said “oh, sorry about that I’m used to just leaving my card for an open tab”. But I guess he was trying to make a point because instead of just walking my card back over, he decided to hold it behind the cash register. Mind you, there was less than 10 people in the entire place and we were sitting literally 3 feet from the bar, he at any point could’ve just let me know that they don’t hold cards and just gave it back. Very odd encounter.

I went the other night, they have a decent selection of beers, friendly staff, seemed clean and they have a pretty big back yard…I think there’s a bar out there but I’m not sure, I only went out to smoke… just a cigarette! I had already eaten an edible before I left home.

Great place to drink with a group. Revolving selection of craft beers on tap. Pool table, Ski ball, Pinball, Keno, sports on television. Large outdoor area out back. Fine food available next door (and a liquor store all in the same building). What more could you want out of a bar?
