Omg!!! I had a breakfast for champions here! Lol. This place had some of the BEST food. The catfish was fried to perfection, very light, with no fishy taste. The pistolette was simply amazing…you can’t go wrong with the crawfish or shrimp one. Cracklins were tasty too. The cashiers were super nice and helpful. They had a full stock of all their sausages. Overall just a great experience!

Delicious spot! We stopped on a trip from Texas to South Carolina. Kids had cheeseburger and chicken tenders and they loved them. Wife had the crawfish potato and the tater was large and loaded with crispy Lil mudbugs. I had the sausage hoagie and a boudain link. The sausage was rich and smokey with a great snap, the boudain was soft and delicious with great spice and was huge. 5 of us were stuffed for a little over $40. Atmosphere was wonderful as well, no frills country charm that we are used to with that Cajun flare. Ladies at the front were fantastic when ordering and the plate lunch line was a cool feature. Highly recommend.

I was told they had good catfish here and they do. I also tried the deep fried corn. It was wonderful. The cashier recommended the shrimp poboy. It was also good. The rice dressing was tasty.

The cracklins were a little off. They were overcooked and almost well done. I’m glad I only got a 1/4 lb. For almost $24 a lb, they should be on point and done right.

They don’t have cocktail sauce here but you can make your own with what’s on the table.

The meat market part was nice. Lots of take home goodies available.

Overall, it was a good visit and I will be back. I’ll pass on the cracklins next time. Too many other places to buy them in Louisiana.

Not sure what happened with this place if they got a new cook or something but it wasn’t up to the standard they usually have.Ordered boudan balls and they were burnt on the outside greasier then normal on the inside not in a good way and bland no seasoning at all like they normally do the color of them inside and out is different,I ordered a cheeseburger also was little to pink almost red in the middle like if the cook didn’t know what he was doing, usually this place is awesome but this time was a huge disappointment.

Baw! Dat good, podnuh! Kitty Fishy Po’Boy and boudin is fire, y’all! We visited from Oregon during a weekday for lunch, ended up back there for dinner with family on the weekend. 9 of us total and there was available seating with no wait on the table. Walk up to the counter to order and they’ll call your name when it’s ready. They serve pure deliciousness!

I absolutely love the crawfish pistolettes! If you aren’t from the area, a pistolette is basically fried bread with etouffee inside. Their boudin with pepper jack cheese stuffed in an egg roll wrapper is also really good. They have a gas station type convenience store inside along with a seating area in addition to fresh Louisiana meat and cooked goods.

I’ve eaten this boudain since I could remember. I never posted a review and thought I need to. Last night we purchased some boudain from a local market basket it was the stop boudain. Before I ate mine I asked my husband to rate it. Word for word he said “zummos boudain being a one,djs boudain being a two,and rabideauxs being a 10.i give it a 6.” Woke up and headed to best cajun kitchen in Louisiana and got us some boudain for after the parade tonight. Thank yall for always having such amazing quality and such a heart for your customers. We taste the ❤️.

The plate lunches are great during lunchtime, they also have some meat. I’m ready to take to the house and eat.My preference is the sausage. Much better than getting the frozen stuff from the grocery store.

Stopped here while on a trip and the service here was good, very patient and helpful, the place was pretty busy. Food came out quick but the fried fish was pretty bland. Some of the things we got tasted like they were sitting out for a while. The burger was decent. No one really finished anything they ordered…
