Living in Santa Fe for 34 years, I usually avoid the “tourist” parts of this city. However, I was curious to taste some food from India, and most of my usual favorite restaurants do not open until the dinner hour. The smells were intriguing. Too bad the food did not live up to all the hype of winning against Bobby Flay. The shrimp was burnt on the outside. And instead of being “mild” to my order, it was amazingly spicy. The Biriyani had large cardamom pods that I unintentionally bit into as well as some whole cloves. What is worse is that there was some small dried fruit, perhaps prune, that still had a pit in it. Several of those. Good way to insure that the dentist would be the very next step. All in all, an unsatisfactory experience. I will not be ordering from here again.

I passed this place yesterday, my first day of two, visiting from Albuquerque and it caught my eye. I had two nights at two different Marriotts, the Courtyard and La Posada because my husband and I messed up the reservation. That left me wandering the streets of Santa Fe for hours, window shopping and walking and by the time I checked in, I was exhausted, couldn’t think straight, or make decisions clearly. I went through countless other restaurant menus trying to figure out what to do, didn’t feel like walking anymore, just wanted to enjoy the lovely saline pool here and my beautiful room. So, I went with this place and ordered the Spinach Kofta. It does NOT disappoint! I’m more of a light eater, love vegetarian food, entrees, salads, but this is definitely an entree, served with rice and it comes with these incredible dumplings that have potatoes and lots of herbs and spices. It is so yummy!!! I topped it with tomatoes and a bit of sea salt and vinegar chips with some Mayan sea salt I bought at Savory Spice here. Wow! What a nice meal. I ordered through Door Dash, did a swim in the pool and it was delivered right to me, to go enjoy from the comfort of my patio with a nice glass of Chardonnay. Perfect! Highly recommend. Medium spice was just right for someone who can take some heat, but still wants to taste the food. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you Raaga-go via Door Dash. Wonderful experience!

Absolutely phenomenal. Chef Paddy recommended a salad that was unique, delicious and a family tradition that I would suggest anyone try. (Picture included, sorry we ate most of it)
The passion and love for cooking comes through everything we ordered. Highly suggest you try it, and the next time I am in Sante Fe I will add chef Paddy Rawal takeout as a must eat again.

Stopped here visiting Santa Fe. Lured by the proudly displayed sign “I beat Bobby Flay”. Where we come from in TX, we have a large Indian population and some excellent Indian cuisine, so we were excited to try.
Bad sign when the owner pulls out bags of frozen Naan. (We got only 1 in an order and were charged 2 dollars). We made the poor decision to ignore that. I mean how bad can it be if he beat Bobby Flay, right? Oh, it gets worse..
We ordered samosa, korma and paneer curries and the frozen bread:/
From there, don’t know where to begin to describe how AWFUL the food was.
The samosas were also obviously frozen. The pastry was soft and doughy, cold inside and the filling was mush.
I couldn’t tell the difference between the two curries that also didn’t even LOOK like proper curries. The vegetable korma didn’t even have cashews (as is normal and was in the description). We asked for mild, but what we got was completely tasteless. And I mean, not even SALT!! TASTELESS.
We kept wondering H-O-W did he beat Bobby Flay?? It was the worst Indian food we’ve EVER had. Food now is far too expensive to waste on terrible take out. This is the reason for the review to help people avoid the mistake we made. If you crave Indian, you definitely should look elsewhere in Santa Fe.

Amazing fresh and delicious food. Chef Paddy pours his heart and skills into it. One of the best Indian restaurant I’ve eaten food in.

Best Indian food I’ve ever had, and I’ve had it in many major cities across the U.S. and UK. I was in Santa Fe for a month-long business trip and regret not discovering this spot until the day before I left. All the ingredients were top notch. The sauces were extraordinary. The chicken was tender and delicious. I would fly back to Santa Fe from the East Coast for this food. Also, oddly enough for an Indian restaurant, it was the best baklava I’ve ever had from any Greek restaurant. If you love Indian food, add this place to your bucket list.

Best Indian Food in SF hands down! We have been enjoying Raaga Go since they opened and it just keeps getting better! Each dish is so unique and the flavor profile is out of this world. The Spinach Salad appetizer is literally my favorite food in all of Santa Fe. The staff is so nice, the food is so fresh, and so helpful to be able to grab and go. Although we did just check out the dining area and that was nice too. Portions are also a good size, we always have enough for 2 meals!

Chef Paddy served me rancid shrimp for $25. We ordered take out this weekend and were given food that would have surely made us violently ill. The shrimp where the consistency of toothpaste and smelled like a dead cat. There is absolutely no way they didn’t smell the shrimp when they were cooking it. Honestly, we were excited when Raaga made their return, but we will never order food from them again after this horrid experience.

If this restaurant were based in Denver CO I’d frequent it every week. You Santa Fean’s are in luck that there’s an East Indian Chef that brings out the wonderful flavors rather than the spice which is where ALL the other Indian restaurants have got it wrong. I am originally from India and prolly ate Chicken Curry as my first baby solid food in the early 80’s. I always rate a new Indian restaurant on two staple foods… Chicken Tikka Masala and their Mango Lassi. This guy … Chef Paddy … got both these foods right and actually set a new benchmark for flavors in my book. I’ve eaten 100’s of Chicken Tikka Masalas in 100’s of restaurants in India and the USA and the food here is the Chicken Tikka Benchmark of Indian restaurants.
My wife ordered the Paneer Tikka and Butter Chicken on different occasions and she was impressed. We ordered the baklava based on another review and it did not disappoint. We are considering getting food from here again today… a third day in a row for our 5 day Santa Fe trip, this speaks volumes of how good the food is. 8.11.2023
