I’ve had this restaurant hyped up to me for years. I’ve only heard good things, and I LOVE sushi so I decided to finally go. In our group we had someone with several food allergies and they were very accommodating which was nice. The RAking roll was really amazing, the rest of the rolls we got (by recommendation from our server) were just fine. The fish was really good, but the rice was horrendous. It was very overcooked and gummy, which ruined the texture and taste of the sushi. Every other component was very good and the flavors of fish and sauces were unique and delicious, but we could not get past how bad the rice was. Maybe we just went at a bad time? Got a bad batch of rice? The RAking roll was good because it was fried so you didn’t notice the super mushy rice as much as the rest of the rolls. But for $20+ a roll, the rice should’ve been better than what you’d get at the Fry’s sushi bar. It was like playdoh. I reallllllly wanted to like it, but we could not get past that awful rice. Disappointing.

This place has survived decades for good reason. The relaxed atmosphere invites you to hang out as long as you’d like. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and the other staff was warm and welcoming. The food is tasty and they have a great happy hour- all day long on Mondays. The menu options go beyond sushi, and there are even some unique creations I haven’t seen at other sushi restaurants.

Very great place! Atmosphere in here is breathtaking with the lights, the music and vibrate colors they have in here. The manger Luis is one of the greatest people you can meet! So friendly and greeting and wants you to have a great time while eating. I encourage everyone to come in whenever you’re feeling great sushi! – Joseph 🙂

Overpriced drinks. Two Micheladas $30?! They were good but not at that cost. Happy hour all day Monday is great. Watch out…the bill adds up quickly. No wait during lunch. Located off highway. Near other retail and eateries. Service was professional and courteous. Management not such.

Great setting to enjoy a field trip of flavors. The smoked salmon “crazy monkey” sushi was legendary! The Ramen was authentic and had flavorful broth. Vegas rolls are the most exciting bite of food I’ve ever had!

The sushi was great, especially the crazy monkey and viva Las Vegas rolls, but my sister got the steak and shrimp plate and it was unfortunately not great, despite being pretty pricey. The staff were wonderful and able to answer our questions and the atmosphere was nice but not stellar. Definitely worth a repeat visit but not a perfect experience.
