Visting from out of town and stopped in for breakfast. Everything about this place rocks. Great happy atmosphere and friendly service. Had a cinnamon roll, which the bake was a bit drier than you usually see, but the frosting was so amazing it didn’t matter. My Fiance had the Sunrise Special, and said it was good. I had the biscuits and gravy and they totally ripped. GREAT biscuit and they aren’t afraid of putting actual flavor into the gravy. Reasonable prices, for tea, roll, B&G, and special the bill was only $25. Will 100% be back next time I’m in the area.

Pictured is the Wednesday night broasted chicken dinner special. Everything was really good, however this was the only option on the menu for Wednesday night. Didn’t matter for my group, but could be a problem for others. 4 pieces chicken, baked beans, choice of cheesy hash browns or baked potato, Cole slaw and roll was $15. It’s super cozy inside and the landscape center next door adds for a pretty view out of the south windows.

I stop in at R Place every time I’m back in the state visiting family and friends. My mom and her friends stop here frequently as a gathering place. The food and staff are always great.

Great homemade biscuits and gravy. Friendly service and good food. New owners took over in April. The apple fritter French toast was also very good.

What a wonderful experience! Abby and her mom have created a special place. The breads are homemade and will knock your socks off. Abby had such a kind smile when we first arrived we felt like we’d entered their home.
I had the “Eye Opener” and it was so delicious, in large part due to the homemade wheat bread.
Charming, yummy, and homey. They only take cash or checks, so be sure to take some money out at the Cenex 3 miles north before you go. Whether you are a local or just passing through, be sure to stop by!

By far the BEST RESTAURANT in the area! Try the biscuits and gravy and the chicken on Wednesday nights!
