So today I finally made it out to R & M Coffee Bar & Café and it was definitely a 10/10 experience. I ordered the creme brulee latte iced ( minus Carmel add vanilla). Their barista was very knowledgeable and able to give recommendations/substitutions based on my taste preference. We ordered the cookie butter pancake stack. Now the portions were so large I wasn’t able to finish half of one. I was so afraid that it would be too sweet but they did a phenomenal job with balancing great taste without the oversaturation of sweetness. It was perfect and no syrup was needed. We also ordered the land and sea dish which included blackened chicken, shrimp, sausage, and grilled veggies over rice. The sauce was not overbearing and complimented the dish instead of carrying it like I experience in most places. Everything was grilled . This was a nice healthy option that didn’t taste healthy AT ALL. The flavor was packed in every bite!!!

2/28: Walked in, wasn’t greeted. We walked to the counter and was the young lady asked if we were dining in. She told us to sit where ever we like. It was only one table available which was dirty. I asked her whenever she gets time if she could clean that table because it was the only table available. With a attitude she says “When I get a minute I will”. My daughter said mom, let’s just try another day. I don’t think today is the day. My daughter notices the young lady was rude. We left and will try out another new spot we’ve been waiting to try as well.

The food was ok. They seemed to have problems providing the corn muffin that came with the meal for members of the group that ordered them. The problem came with checking out. The only payment method offered was using a card and they charged a card fee. BTW I had planned to pay with cash. Not really sure I will ever eat there again.

I went to go get coffee earlier today and the service was terrible. I walked in and no greeting I also got my drink and said thank you and was also ignored. I got food on the opposite site and the owners were great, so kind and helped with the menu and the food was so so good.

Only gave a one star I decided to call first and asked to speak to a manager the lady who answered sounded half asleep and was rude when asked when a manager would be in she said I don’t know and sat in silence didn’t ask to take a message or ask what the call pertains to .. what service! I can only imagine what actual service would be inside if that’s the phone etiquette you get when you call
