This is a cute, local bar fixed up a couple of years ago, and the carpet has just been redone.

The owners are great people and the beer is nice and cold. I would love to see them get some of our local beers on tap, but there’s always a nice supply of tasty beverages.
Go for the beer but stay for the food.

They have now changed their menu and are even serving prime rib on Thursday. This is the most tender meat I’ve had in at least 18 years. The garlic green beans with mushrooms are to die for and the potato could not be any more creamy and wonderful.
Bravo to the owner Steve and his new kitchen manager for the wonderful changes.

Addendum:
The prime rib keeps getting better. It’s now my Thursday go-to. I didn’t think the 1st prime I had here could get any more tender but boy was I wrong. I don’t know what they are doing, but obviously THEY know what they are doing and I can’t wait until next week! And the week after that!
