Our go-to is the honey ham or the steak sub on the rosemary parmesan bread, which is so good toasted. The steak is always juicy and packed onto the sandwich, and whatever sauce they use is amazing. We always order the large sandwiches and end up eating half on the drive because it’s just too good to wait until we get home.
Even the leftovers are great — it reheats really well the next day. Definitely one of our favorite road-trip stops.
This is an update 1-19-2026. Food was wrong, they didn’t have the bread or the extra meat we wanted. It has gone down hill so bad at this point just close. When we called to complain the manager was very rude. Miss toppings, sauces and the food was just nasty. I used to love this place 10/15 years ago. It’s trash now. 52 bucks for 3 sandwiches with no meat and it being wrong in every way is just unethical. If I could give zero I would
I live in an area with NO more Quiznos, so I was really looking forward to scratching that itch when I drove through Plainfield last week.
The people working the place were very nice, and doing (I imagine) their best. But the food was just so *not* “Quiznos”. I got a mesquite chicken that was just so bland and flavorless. My daughter got a turkey sandwich, and she commented that the turkey had that ‘slimy’ feel of deli turkey that’s about done.
There was a condiment (?) bar, but it was empty — like, no containers or anything; not just missing supplies. And it seems like the drinks might have been too watered down out of the fountain.
Owners, if you read this, I really, REALLY want you to do well. And I know big Q has made franchisees’ lives terrible. But if you want this location to survive, the food and vibe need to be stepped up a notch.
To make matters worse, we were overcharged for an extra sandwich. When we pointed it out, she initially argued with us, only to finally correct the mistake after recounting.
The food itself was good, but the service was absolutely terrible. With so many other great places to eat, we won’t be returning.
