This Quiznos on Bird Road is a true hidden gem in Miami-Dade, and it deserves WAY more love than it gets.
First off, John, the franchise owner, is one of the nicest, most customer-oriented people you’ll meet. He runs this place alongside his wife and sons, and you can feel that family pride the moment you walk in. This location has been around for roughly 30 years, and it’s actually one of the only Quiznos left in Miami-Dade County.
Let me be clear: the food is excellent. The subs are better than the hoagie spot on Bird near 62nd, better than Subway, and honestly, even better than Publix subs (sorry, Publix). The ingredients are fresh, the sandwiches are made with care, and the quality punches way above what people expect.
The only reason this place doesn’t get the traction it deserves has nothing to do with food or service. Unfortunately, they’re restricted on signage by the franchise, and their neon sign burned out so from the outside it looks like a shell of its former glory. But don’t let that fool you. What’s inside is a solid, well-run business with top-tier subs and genuine hospitality.
This area might be a little awkward traffic-wise, but it is 100% worth the stop. If anyone out there can help John with marketing, advertising, or even just spreading the word, please do. All this place needs is foot traffic.
I’ll absolutely be coming back and often.

Ordered online a traditional sandwich as it comes with the normal toppings listed. Sandwich was poor made, toppings left off then added pickles which do not come on it. No tomato, no olives, only little bit of lettuce, just sad for the amount paid.

This is one of the best subs in town! This place is a chain, but run like a local sub shop with amazing quality ingredients that are fresh every single time. I come in when I am in the area and they are on the ball with professional and prompt service. I really appreciate the attention to detail and great customer service.
