We came back to Iowa City to celebrate our 10 year anniversary in March and we’re looking for a nice small business to support. We stopped here for lunch and we got amazing food, great service and our expectations were beyond met! The food servings were large, especially for the price. The waitresses were super nice and answered a few questions we had about the parking meters (LOL) without judgement.

I have been going to this restaurant for a very long time and am just now getting around to writing a review. I have dealt with several different workers and staff and never once have I had an issue. They are all helpful, kind, and prompt. The food here is stellar and the drinks closely follow suit. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good eats and a good environment.

Waited for 15 mins for the bartender to leave his friends outside to come in to take my order and could see him grinding his teeth! I ordered to suds/potatoes and the potatoes weren’t cooked all the way and cold upon arrival. I understand that this is run by students but to the owners come on don’t let these kids ruin your restaurant

The burgers here are really good. Unique combos. Fries are pretty delicious too. The drinks aren’t the cheapest and neither is the food but the atmosphere and crowd are nice and it’s just a cool place. Worth checking out for sure.

We were visiting from out of town and looking for a last minute place to eat. The service was great and the food was fresh, simple and done correctly. Often places ruin simple this place has it down and it was delicious. We had the Quinton’s BLT and the Big Popper Burger, juicy with salad as our side.

Should’ve trusted recent reviews. Took over 90 minutes to get my food. Others in my group ordered soup that came ice cold. Had to take stuff to go because it took so long. Server was doing her best, but other tables came and went while we still waited. Several open tables when we got there and when we finally left so it wasn’t like they were packed
