I’m so glad we found this place! As soon as we walked in we were acknowledged and politely greeted by a gentleman who was running the front. Not only was the food cheap and delicious, but the portions were big! When our plates were brought out my eyes widened at the size of the plates. I was blown away. Everything was delicious from the chips and salsa, the refreshing horchata, and of course the food. I also overheard other customers talking about how good their food was and their alcoholic drinks. I’m pregnant so I wasn’t able to try any of them but they did look great. We will definitely visit Quijotes again when we come back to Colorado Springs. I had the combo #4 which comes with a chili relleno, a chicken tamale and a chicken enchilada with chili green sauce served with rice and beans as well as lettuce, guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo. Absolutely delicious. I feel like they are very generous with the portion sizes and their prices being lower than most places. 5 stars well deserved.

We wondered in here for Supper. I had French toast. It was good. I asked for a strawberry daqueri. The woman spoke very broken English and did not understand what I wanted. She did her best. It turned out pretty good. We had a group of 8 and they did a good job of taking care of us. Those that ate Mexican food enjoyed it. The place needed several repairs that were visible. The bathrooms needed a lot of attention. We were all from out of town. Because of the atmosphere and bathroom I would not recommend this place to anyone that cares about those things.

Huge burritos and delicious food! We are from Texas and used to TexMex food, this was on par and definitely made for a delicious dinner after our flight into Colorado Springs. They were also able to accommodate my request since I am autistic and can be picky with food. I am grateful for the staff. Definitely recommend this gem!

This is my family’s favorite Mexican restaurant in Colorado Springs. I usually get the fish tacos and they’re always perfect, but really anything I’ve had here is great. The servers are lovely, know us, and joke with us. I’ve nvr had anything I didn’t like here, their prices are very reasonable, and their portions are great. I can’t recommend this place enough, if you’re trying to figure out where you want to eat tonight… yes lol.

Lovely authentic Mexican restaurant. Huge portions packed with flavor. The horchata is house made and has hints of coconut to make it unique and absolutely delicious! The hot green Chile I smothered my barbacoa burrito in was fire! Plenty of spice and flavor. Service was good, food came out fast and waitresses were friendly and attentive.

I came here on Black Friday while going through an emergency family situation. The server seemed a little unhappy like she didn’t want to be there, so I tipped $100. Since then, have been back twice and service from the guy behind the bar was great! We live nearby and always order alcohol so it’s nice to feel like you have a place you can go to for good comida.

This is my favorite restaurant! Every Mother’s day, every date, every time I want the best cucumber margarita in the Sprngs! The food actually has flavor without adding salt at the table, thay are not afraid to use seasonings. The staff treat you like family. If you love Mexican cuisine and have not tried Quijotes yet or aren’t sure if you like it or not you have to get here. I personally recommend the Cucumber margaritas. Have had them other places and no one beats these.

This is my go-to for Mexican food, when I’m in Colorado Springs. I tend to get the same thing each time – Three enchiladas combo. I’ve also had their breakfast burritos and they are amazing and well priced! Over many years, their food has stayed consistently delicious! The margaritas are tasty, as well. The service is quick and friendly, and the prices are some of the best around for the amount of food that you get. Side note: If they say that something is spicy, believe them! I made the mistake of thinking I was a hero ONCE, and went all in. Mistake. Mild works for me!
